Ok, the old thread is nearly full. If you read the other three, I don't need to re-write everything again ;)

But you know I am referring to the case involving an Italian mother and the British social services.
Opinions welcome.

and what I meant by that is that people in public office are allowed to hold personal opinions - what isn't right is to use that public office to abuse the system to promote those personal views in the name of the particular office or position that they hold. I think most of society would feel pretty strongly about that.

Spero · 21/12/2013 11:55

Carpe, Brendan Flemming is probably at a bit of a loose end right now, if you need to add to your crack legal team.

But I do warn you, I have copious schedules -I made up when I was pissed- which I have rigorously researched and you is going dahn.

Spero · 21/12/2013 11:55

Damn you strike through failure

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2013 12:01

You have no chance Carpe, for I have Spero on my side! Prepare for incoming writ.

(No win no fee OK with you Spero?)

Westmorland makes some v good points (as usual), with which I entirely agree (as usual)

Spero · 21/12/2013 12:03

Er no, fees upfront plus daily uplifts.

But in return for my extremely reasonable brief fee of £3k plus VAT for the first hour or part thereof I do promise to email everyone I have ever met about just how badly carpe has behaved.

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2013 12:07

Oh look, MNHQ have removed another of JH's 'outing' posts.

What a shame it would be if the courageous champion of parents everywhere were to be banned from Britain's leading parenting site.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 12:07

You can't send me dahn!

I have a crack Italian lawyer team! With mates' rates and everything!

This I consider a benefit of marrying well above my station. Again.

Spero · 21/12/2013 12:07

For example, when I compare carpe with Scottish people I can see that only a small proportion of the Scots have ever outed someone as a lib dem whip, ergo Carpe is 89% more likely to be in breach of the Magna Carta.

Another mulled wine? Don't mind if I do.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 12:08

Wha! Why did MNHQ take off the link to my twitter account!

How am I supposed to become a "mega followers" twerker now?

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2013 12:09

Daily uplifts? Get yourself over to the Style and Beauty bra threads - those women know their stuff Grin

Spero · 21/12/2013 12:10

Don't worry Carpe, JH will be along soon no doubt with a helpful google map of your address and a copy of your birth certificate.

Just to help the debate along you understand.

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2013 12:13

That is brilliant! With a razor-sharp legal mind like that on the case victory will be mine!

(writes post-dated cheque)

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 12:15

Somebody found my birth cert ! Cool! I've been looking for that for about 20 years.

John, be a poppet and DHL express it to me, there's a luv.

DHL have finally worked out where I live today. Hence an entire morning pocking in BIOS gingerly trying to install an English version of Windows 8. The fucker is bad enough without adding 2nd language stress to World's Worst OS EVER stress.

Spero · 21/12/2013 12:21

Yesh bore, there is plenty more where that came from!

Thish evidence gathering lark ish easy peasy now I am free from the shackles of logics and reason and fuelled by some mulled wine.

Wish I had realised this years ago.

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2013 12:29

All you need is a spreadshit Xmas Grin

NanaNina · 21/12/2013 12:29

Oh once again you lot have made me smile a lot this morning with your witty posts. Well done Spero for the email to WAR - actually when JH told us he had had an interesting discussion with these women he gave a link that took me through to a blog or even twitter(sorry don't understand either of these ..... technologically challenge) but the only thing I found was a message from someone stating that JH was in "cahoots" with Ian Joseph. Maybe it was someone from this thread?

Now go easy on the poor man today you lot because our friend might well have a hangover this morning.

Oh and so glad you got a reply from Nick Clegg Spero - maybe at last we will get JH and his views exposed with our collective efforts. Would love to stay on the thread but I have to go to the Brownies Christmas party this afternoon, though I'll probably nip out to the pub if it gets boring, then I'll be delivering mince pies as "crumbs of comfort" to loving parents who have had their children "snatched" by you know who.

Incidentally I am getting concerned about Romanian and Bulgarian people who will be entering the UK in January. I just hope none of them are pregnant, or (dare I say) have a panic attack as they will be taken to the nearest psychiatric hospital, followed by a barbaric operation, and the babies removed immediately and we all know what happens next if babies are removed from mothers....................got to keep those adoption targets up somehow, so every cloud...............................

Spero · 21/12/2013 12:33

The brownies Christmas party eh? Goodness only knows what that is a euphemism for.

Sadly I never did get any response from Clegg but at least my own MP has responded so I have emailed.

Now I must go and see if I can find my daughters bed under two tonnes of detritus so can change sheets in time for Christmas.

I hope everyone has a jolly one and I look forward to many, many more spreadshits in the new Year.

Completely agree. This morning I had a chat with my hubby (who was puffing as a steam train during the past two weeks because my new home is mumsnet now... Grin) and he agreed that we are a great group because we fight for what we believe it's right Xmas Smile. He said he will eventually join the fight at some point, although he's not a mum yet Grin.

Carpe

Misbehaving again? Hmm With the Scots? Hmm Must report you to the Buffoon of Brigadoon on twitter...

There is also the 'Gardner's Army' in it. JH is too (enter an adjective here, whatever you like) to understand that mumsnet is not the only place who's up in arms about it.

However, for someone obsessing over non-existent conspiracies it is clear that we are the target... Yes JH, the nest of vipers is not just here.

He can't even elaborate that others (like at least 4 family lawyers...) are saying the same stuff on various blogs too.

Haha I had missed that. I'd like to see his face when he will stare in front of my main door and he finds out that my address is Scotland Yard.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 12:47

I would like to point out that my ONLY connection to anything scottish is a memory of living there when I was four where the entire memory is a pair of red wellies and snow.

And a weakness for whiskey with ginger wine.

But I don't post when I have any.

For obvious reasons.

Like not wanting to make a tit of myself.

Or undermining Mah Authoritah!

Or embarrassing/tainting the people associated with me via profession or alliegence.

So stick that in your summons and smoke it !

YoniMatopoeia · 21/12/2013 13:51

I am going toScotland for new year.l

You be careful up there. What with the Great Scottish Control Experiement Overlords lurking everywhere.

YoniMatopoeia · 21/12/2013 15:30

Don't worry. We are covering the land rover with tin foil.
