I am so fed up with this cold!! My sinuses are really painful, feeling really sorry for myself . Just eating a bacon and egg sandwich that DH has made for me and then I must do some jobs - the house is such a mess!

JKS - I'm not taking anything, I'm allergic to ibuprofen and similar and I can't take those night nurse etc things because I'm BFing DS still. Paracetamol isn't touching it so I've stopped bothering. DH went out and got me some Vicks so I've been sat with my head over a bowl of boiling water and Vicks for 10 minutes under a towel which has helped a bit. Going to give it another go later as well.

I have just spent a hideous amount of money on 2 cardigans online to cheer myself up. I am seriously considering NOT telling DH!!

Hi everyone, got loads of ironing done, but not put away[blush, feeling tired today sat up late googling cakes,
my cake was a big hit I was quite embarrassed though because some people din't know I had made it and they were standing beside me saying how brilliant it was,
dh said I should have told them I made it, suppose will have to just build my confedience

anyway going to have a cuppa and try to wake up whilee dd1 is doing her homework, she came out beaming from school as she got her violin today, lucky us (plumbum sneaks the earplugs in now)

I made DH stroke a nappy last night Poor man looked so baffled.

I have no idea what heinous thing I did to this child yesterday, but it has decided today to get into a position where if I stand (at all... not just for any length of time) it feels like it is falling out of me . I was planning on putting out washing before school run, but can't face the bending and reaching!

DH has got tomorrow off work so he can clean lounge carpet, help sort dining room etc (he said "So you don't cry at the weekend when it is all still to do"... I snurked and asked if he seriously thought I wouldn't cry at the weekend ).

Spending part of tomorrow in the cinema too. Decided to have a couple of hours just us

Flame - I do that to DH with nappies, he is very tolerant of me. Last night he was getting DS ready for bed and he'd got out a hemp one with a lovely multi-coloured stripey fleece lining - so far so good. Much swearing from DH 'can't get this f*ing thing done up' me, glancing over 'that's because you have put it on inside out dear'. DH 'WTF is the point of the stripes being on the inside??'. Me
Take it easy won't you, otherwise DH will be delivering that baby on his day off!!

I have just been and cleaned the bathroom even though it's not on my list!

Feeling abit rubbish this morning, DH and I have had a silly arguement, we've had a lot of them recently, we can't seem to be in the same room for any length of time without us getting at each other. I think our main problem is the fact that we don't get any time just the two of us and all we talk about is family and house stuff, it's like we have forgotten why we are together and have been together for 14 years. Sorry I'm rambling I can say how I feel on here without upsetting or annoying anyone.

plum Well done with the cake!! You desevre all the compliments, I think the cakes I have seen are brilliant!! I am making DS3 birthday cake today, nothing fancy, just a sponge with buttercream icing.
