I mean to enter the local church cake/flower competition every year, entry level ranges from pretty low (me!) to quite high, could be fun though.

• get photos of family & hang them up
• buy some cheap photo albums (Factory Shop trip)
• find correct sized refills for filofax pen - maybe buy a new one - can't find one i like
• get on with friend's family tree
• transfer all family trees over to Mac software
• then go through 1911 census (again)
• write in DS2's book for 18mo entry
• buy new (cheap) DVD player
• make more cards so i'm ahead of myself
• plan & use reward chart for ds1 to get him using the toilet
• sort eBay toys
• sort stuff to sell on eBay

Hello all

I went to see DH in Thetford Forest where he is a treatment vet for the endurance competition. It meant that DD got to see him and i got to speak to people older than 21months. Then went to do the horses and had to rescue one of my horses from a very angry hornet that was attacking him and had stung him loads he was ok though, will have to see how he is tomorrow.

I am starting to feel a bit bleh again and the housework is starting to slip. Everything is just feeling like very hard work iyswim. I definitely need a good shove bit of encouragement in the right direction, so if i don't post a list everyday and come back to tick things off i want you all to shout at me!

alice I know exactly what you mean, things just become so tedious (sp?)

We went to B&Q to pick up some bits and pieces and DD decided it would be a great time to have an almighty tantrum, screeching, feet stamping, because we wouldn't buy her a lime green dustpan and brush, there was the usual looks, but I saw 2 girls in the teens or early twenties pissing themselves laughing as if it was the funniest thing they have ever seen. I was and had to really stop myself from saying something. It's hard enough dealing with a toddlers tantrum without having a couple of idiots enjoying it

Alice - i know the feeling, sometimes i just don't feel like doing the jobs and if i can get away with it, i leave stuff when i'm feeling like that. i know myself well enough now to realise the urge to move/get up/tidy will come back....hopefully not too much later, lol! it's only a problem when i have to do stuff and really don't feel like it.

Morning, raining here . Delighted with myself because my dishwasher wasnt working for the last 6-8 months and had been trying to save to buy a new one but with no luck. Sat evening after getting fed up washing dishes for the umpteenth time, I decided to turn it on, held down a few buttons and hey presto its working again (wonders how long for).

Right have decided I am fed up being fat so I am trying to eat sensibly, in the middle of porridge for breakfast . Edible but not the same as my toast with loads of butter!!

Hi CWWM JKS I'm just advertising some bits and pieces that I want to get rid of, it's free to advertise anything under £100 in my local paper. I have put a couple of things on MN too. I was just going to give things to the charity shop but every penny counts at the moment.
