Alice I'm sinking too - a lot of it is lack of sleep I think for me, DS was very unsettled again last night (up twice for milk) and then woke up at 5:30am and wouldn't go back to sleep! I had only dropped off at just after 3am so I'm bloody shattered. Went and had a nap this morning when he did, but now I just feel all and it grey and drizzly here

Right, DS is down for a nap, must do 20 minutes of jobs just so that the whole house doesn't slide out of control.

Right I am seriously worried about myself, ended up when I went to unload dishwasher, cleaning the press out and rearranging it! Still wondering how long it will last for!

should have said the press where the plates, cups and glasses go! Somebody check my temperature

Well I have had some success with DS2 I have encouraged him to throw away the cars that have missing wheels and/or doors in exchange for a couple of shiney new ones, the things I have to do!!

Evening all

Not been particularly good today, although i have got 3 loads of washing done (still need to dry and iron, but hey ) Was busy out of the house all morning, then a friend came over for lunch and then i went back to the horses. Tomorrow i have to make sure i am in for 9.30am for the boiler man, so at least i will be in for the morning and may do a mega crisis clean. I have a friend coming over on wednesday afternoon 4pm and she hasn't been here before and her house is immaculate so i want to make a bit of effort. So if anyone wants to join me on a crisis clean tomorrow morning........

Might do AC! Really want to sort out upstairs. DD1 cleaned her room this morning and did a great job! Dd2 staying over in her cousins tonight so might get up early and do her room in the morning.

The first meal cooked on my new cooker was an abosolute disaster, the olive oil and herb potato wedges were undercooked and the steak was over cooked, the only thing that was tasty was the salad DS1 made me feel better though when the said 'first the worst, second the best!!' I hope thats true!!

alice I will join you on a crisis clean tomorrow, I need to do my kitchen, DH has been working on the kitchen all evening and I haven't been able to clear anything up from dinner and he will definatly make a mess too!!

HMHB you should give your DH a list, I give my DH a list of things I'd like him to do, he doesn't mind and it saves me nagging!!

Have you seen all the dones on my list [proud] , I don't know what it is about listing on here, I seem to be getting more done but I don't actually feel like I am doing any more than I used to IYSWIM. I suppose because I am not wasting time wondering where the hell to start, I just pick something from my list and do it.

I have just tried OCM and my skin feels great!!

Wipe down door/skirting/walls with sugar soap

Pick up any rubbish out the front (it gets bad if it is windy at all)

Hi alice You are really going for it today!! I am going to try to get as much done before we go out, DH actually cleaned the kitchen after all his work in the kitchen last night , so I just need to clean/tidy it after each meal.

I have just cleaned out the fish tank and have decided that the fish we have is looking a little lonely so we are going to have a stroll to to garden centre and buy a new fish or 2 and go to the park and library on the way back.

I would be doing well if the fecking plumber had arrived as it is, most of the jobs i can't do til he at least gets here so it has completely ruined my day, and DD is crying for no apparent reason and i am starting to get quite stressed

Has he called you to let know when he will be coming, or to say why he is late?? It's so annoying when this happens!!

Dh rang him for me at 10.30 to find out where he had got to, and he said he had a couple of jobs run over, but will be with us shortly. It really fucks my day up because i have to do the horses when DD is asleep and she likes to sleep about 2pm. If i knew they wouldn't be here til lunch time i could have gone into town when i got back from the horses this morning to get the stuff i need and be making the cake, but now it looks like everything will have to be done once DD is in bed and DH is out this evening. So AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH and breathe
