Put DD3 up to bed last night, she came in about half 1 but slept til 7.15 this morning! Thank God!

DD is in a grump because i won't read to her Marvin Wanted More, and i am in a grump because i have read the book about 10 times in the last hour! Only 55mins until DH gets home

I have also had to have a rant on the chat thread, whoever had the idea for that thread is a genius, i just hope you don't all think i am abusing it! Feel it should be renamed 'Alice has a moan, come and be bored'

I am not bright and early with my list afterall, DS3 was awake loads in the night, he has 2 more teeth coming through, DH got up with him so I could catch up on some sleep.

I haven't read through , my brain not functioning very well, but I will later IO promise!!

Sometimes I regret not doing abit more about how I felt after dd2 was born, I just kept blaming it on the situation with my dad,
but now I look back and think I just got through the first 2 years of dd2's life, I was only happy if I was at home with the dcs, and used to dread the thought of anyone coming to visist or me going anywhere!

So good on you, and no matter what keep posting or I will have to get on a plane to England and hunt you down

JKS - gah a poorly man! DH is horrendous when he is feeling unwell. He won't just go to bed and swoons around the house getting in the way.

Can't be bothered with a list today - the only real tasks are that DH needs to mow the back garden and we are stripping the nappies. Then he is cooking me steak for dinner and I am sleeping in the spare room on my own and DH is dealing with DS if he wakes up in the night - first night off since becoming a Mummy!

SB I was nervous about taking ADs too until I'd swallowed the first one, just knwong that I was doing something to help myself made me feel better.

We're off to the cinema again tomorrow
Storm cinemas do kids club £1 a ticket on Sat & Sun 11.30, so we are off to see Ice Age 3 and I think if you get there early they have colouring in etc

Then we are going to Pizza Express, I exchanged Tesco vouchers £10 for £40 so hopefully a good family day out on a shoestring!

Been busy today.

Last night didn't go well. DH cooked my lovely meal, but DS didn't get settled til about 10, and I was going spare. Every time I put him down he'd wake up.

But in the end he went to sleep, we microwaved the food and drank wine. So all was well.

Today we have been and bought DS first pair of shoes.

I'm going to do tomorrow's list while I've got the laptop.

We went and got some sand for DS' sandpit that my parents got him for his birthday - he just buried his hands and wriggled them about and giggled, was so funny. Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow, depends what kind of night we have I guess! I'm off to bed now in splendid isolation - ah sleep!

I didn't get as much done as I would have liked to yesterday, we had unexpected visitors and ended up hosting a BBQ, it was lovely though, it can't be all work and no play!!

DH did finish the tiling in the kitchen , just have got to do painting, out down new floor, fit cooker and put up blinds.

alice sometimes I feel like if I have another day with just me and the DC I will scream!!

Sleeping was for wimps in our house last night - I did NOT get my peaceful night on my own! DS woke up something like 4/5 times - DH and I were so stupified we were stumbling around getting Calpol etc. The only thing that really seems to soothe DS is a breastfeed - my nips are so sore this morning!!
DS is now back down for a nap and DH and I are slobbing on the sofa having had sausages for breakfast - yum.

Hope you had a good Saturday with all the DC and family situations you are all dealing with in addition to all the usual jobs. Weather was good though!

We had the village show yesterday. MIL won first prize for Best Honey Cake and I got second. There were only 2 entries and I managed to bake a cake that was burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle. DH says it tastes nice though bless him.

I totally wore myself out yesterday. Walked around a bit too much and crashed and burned. Bit too pregnant really.
