I’m back after a quite a while and I lost a long post I wrote yesterday. I’m still getting better from covid and now I have a kidney infection just as DH had gone back to the office so it’s not going well here .
After we had to cancel and reschedule a lot of stuff when I got sick with covid post returning from Mauritius we have now finally started with the 3 /4 w project of landscaping back and front gardens so a lot of grass , soil and all our old plants have been decluttered but they’ll be replaced by a lot of new trees and hedging , flowers ,bushes , sheds , a water feature , a kitchen garden area and another seating area with some sort of fire thing to sit around . Despite the fancy virtual plans I can’t imagine the end result but they’ve made quite a lot of progress in a few days . Several maintenance etc visits due in the house but not sure which ones we can keep with me back in bed with this now and DH working from home again . I’ve stayed on top of the housework miraculously after my covid isolation ended even though I’m still sick and all the endless admin and online shopping . We had DD belated party but it was the first one I had to miss out on for either kid since I was too poorly . Just managed to sell the elliptical machine so that’s a big thing out of the dining room . although I feel like haven’t been actively decluttering lately I guess I have in hindsight since I looked through all the meds and vitamins , a whole big food cupboard ( did the other one before our trip ) reorganised the under stairs cupboard and hall cupboard again and there were lots of old shoes to go ,and I also cleaned and decluttered my own under sink drawer . It’s been a while since I was here so there’s quite a list of stuff that’s either going or gone .

-3 metal dry cleaning hangers to recycling
-2 manky oven trays
-20 pairs of old socks
-5 DH old T-shirts
-10 books and candy and chocolate as party favours plus and extra book to charity
-1 set of impressions of DS teeth from orthodontist 😅
