How much do you spend on flowers per week?

I love fresh flowers and have recently signed up for bloom and wild, I love the surprise. So far the flowers last two weeks, so I have them delivered fortnightly for £18, which in my head is like spending £9 a week on flowers. What do you spend?

We have Freddie's. Only tried them so no idea on comparisons

A genuinely surprised how many people buy themselves flowers regularly. Not in a critical way - as someone said yesterday, others treat themselves with a bottle of wine or coffee or a manicure or whatever, and flowers are just another treat, but it's just a surprise to me how many do, as I've always bought them as a small gift for people, or received them as gifts for myself. I would really think of it as buying "myself" flowers, I would think of it as buying flowers to make the house look nice. No different from other kinds of house accessories. My DH is a more frequent buyer/picker of flowers than me, but except for a big birthday bouquet, he never presents them as flowers for me, just puts them in a vase on the kitchen table. He's Dutch and I think it is more part of the culture there. Flowers are much cheaper and nicer in the Netherlands.

I was just looking at Freddies! They had a 50% off the first two deliveries. Can you sign up for every other week, or less? It wasn't obvious to me, and I'm not sure I want to have to keep reordering.

Freddie's is a weekly opt in / opt out - so I only get it when we will be around to enjoy it

About £30 a week. I love flowers in the house.

And plants too. I'm in the bath now and this is to the side of me.

Nothing to a fiver, absolute max. If I'm in Waitrose and they have something reduced which still looks lovely and fresh I get that.

My neighbour regularly goes to Morrisons before it closes and gets flowers for 9p a bunch. She once came home with several orchids and boquets, about £30 worth for under a £1. She gives some to elderly neighbours or the nursing home she worked in.

Oh wow- Freddies flowers look amazing!

Definitely will sign up when I'm back in the UK.

I've got a monthly Bloom & Wild subscription, so £15 a month. And then I supplement in the spring when tulips are in season as they are my favourites.

I've really enjoyed getting the subscription, I'd like to get them fortnightly, but it just feels a bit too extravagent!

I love to have a vase of lillies in the sitting room, and usually tulips at this time of year in the kitchen. So I'd say I spend around £10 a week. I used to work in a florists and loved it. But I don't bother in summer as nothing lasts long.
