OK, you can have specific stuff for the machines, like laundry powder and dishwasher stuff and I'll chuck in a free bottle of Fairy washing up liquid, but for the rest of the house?

And not vinegar.
I don't care that it has amazing properties, I don't want my house to smell like a fish and chip shop.

Method Grapefruit surface spray

It smells lovely and actually works

Chottie · 16/07/2017 13:37

Bleach....

Yvetteballs · 16/07/2017 13:38

Wet Wipes. I once cleaned a whole holiday apartment with wipes. When the agent came to check all was I order as we left, he complimented me on how clean we had left it.

Orangebird69 · 16/07/2017 13:38

Sugar soap

numbmum83 · 16/07/2017 13:40

Floor wipes . They are thicker than normal anti bacterial wipes . I use them to clean everywhere.

rightwhine · 16/07/2017 13:41

Tesco multi surface wipes.

MrsChopper · 16/07/2017 13:41

Came on to say Method grapefruit too :)

Sgtmajormummy · 16/07/2017 13:42

Can I have two, please?!
Ammonia (water it down to wash windows, floors, counters, anything that gets greasy)
and Bicarbonate of soda (for scrubbing grime, cleaning stainless steel, oven dirt, limescale).
Sorted!

Crumbelina · 16/07/2017 13:43

I need 3! Barkeeper's Friend, Viakal and baby wipes.

If I had to choose, probably the wipes.

YellowLawn · 16/07/2017 13:43

I use bio powder for most cleaning.
does an amazing job on floors and sinks.

salemcat · 16/07/2017 13:43

Method clementine spray

Crumbelina · 16/07/2017 13:44

Unless you need anti-bac wipes for surfaces, baby wipes are so much cheaper, e.g. for dusty surfaces. About 1p each.

SlaveToDisney · 16/07/2017 13:44

Bleach!

millifiori · 16/07/2017 13:44

Zoflora lavender. If you dilute it really weakly it can be used as a idsinfectant spray for all surfaces including floors. Stronger for cleaning loos and emergencies after the cat has been sick etc. It doesn't smell over powering, just of real lavender, .so long as it's not too strong

SchadenfreudePersonified · 16/07/2017 13:45

Method - is excellent!

Also, Fairy original is good for just about everything, too.

MaisyPops · 16/07/2017 13:45

Stardrops white vinegar spray for me. But it does still have that vinegar type smell.

If anyone has a brilliant all round affordable cleaning product I can use instead, please let me know!

emma8t4 · 16/07/2017 13:46

Star drops the original one, dilute and use as a spray for surfaces, it cleans mirrors, you can use it in you washing machine and as washing up liquid.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 16/07/2017 13:46

Zoflora

I clean everything with either soapy water made with fairy liquid or zoflora.

TeenagersandFurbabies · 16/07/2017 13:48

Method wild rhubarb anti- bac all purpose cleaner. It smells great and I use it literally everywhere.

SerfTerf · 16/07/2017 13:49

Flash (Febreeze scented version). You can clean surfaces, bathrooms AND floors with it and it makes everything smell clean (although I'd miss the smell of almond method spray).

OopsThereGoMyTrousers · 16/07/2017 14:30

Thanks for your suggestions...
So I'm going to be VERY generous and let you have 3 cleaning products.
So fill yer boots...!

What are your magic three?
I have closer to three dozen and they're all rubbish...

Simple - BLEACH!

Ollivander84 · 16/07/2017 14:32

Flash febreeze
vinegar based glass cleaner
Zoflora

elevenclips · 16/07/2017 14:32

Baby wipes (vast quantity)
A decent non toxic limescale remover (Durgol)
Pledge multi surface wipes (will clean glass, electronics, wood)

elevenclips · 16/07/2017 14:33

List what you have op, people will tell you whether to throw them away. Most stuff sold in supermarkets is complete useless toxic crap or too harsh and damaging to what it's supposed to clean!
