Hello Flyers.

Sat here with dozy baby on my knee again. He's just not himself atm.Is it very selfish that I'm worried that I'll miss the mn night out if he's not better? He's not really ill, just not well.

Buda ((((((hugs))))))) from here too.

tortoise · 16/11/2006 21:44

Well in the Ebay listing it says Castle Cary so i assume he saw that before contacting me. Very odd!
I went to appear offline so i could watch Im a celeb cos Brothers girlfriend said she might chat later and i was avoiding it!

tortoise · 16/11/2006 21:45

Awww jelley. I hope he is ok soon. Will you not be able to leave him to go to meet up?
I'm of all that are going.

Quootiepie · 16/11/2006 21:45

Whats wrong with him Jelley?

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 21:46

Sorry tortoise. My batteries went in my keyboard

Jelley · 16/11/2006 21:51

Don't know. He's not himself, very clingy, only sleeping in my arms. Hoping its a virus, and he'll get over it soon. Despite the fact that hes my 3rd and I was a nurse, I'm not used to illness. The dds are never ill.(dd1 has never been sick and she's 7)

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 21:52

Jelley hope hes better soon. (((hugs)))

I don't know about the meet. I think it depends on how he is at that time and who will be looking after him.

I know I dont like leaving any of mine when they are ill, but thats me

I dont know then on the ebay tortoise. 99p and does not bother seems strange

Quootiepie · 16/11/2006 21:52

oh... no temp things like that? Just more clingy?

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 21:56

Shit!! &%$&%$%^%$£""**%%&
1 of the balloons just popped with 1 hell of a bang!!!

I am so glad I dont need a wee

tortoise · 16/11/2006 22:01

LOL HN.
I nearly exploded the microwave last night.I can just imagine the bang that would of gone off with.(and scared me cos i was stood near and could of got hurt!)

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 22:10

How did you nearly do that tortoise?

I just had Ds2 down here as he heard the bang. A grin from ear to ear after he seen all the balloons etc. I told him not to wake DD in the morning, I bet he does now

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 22:13

Hntree just phoned to say good night and says to say good night to all of you too.

She is still on the phone talking.

She still wont tell me what she has got DD though I want to know!!! lol

I am being excited for DD

tortoise · 16/11/2006 22:14

I put a gel heat frog thing in and put it on a bit too long.Turned round from the DW to see it hugely swelled!

squatchette · 16/11/2006 22:16

Evening All i don't know- i hang around all day talking to myself and when i go back to RL you all pile on here..slight exageration there maybe.
I ended up waking the tiddlepeeps for tea which they both left .It was a bit of a strange concoction though roast beef and cauliflower+ broccoli cheese.Ended up having to do them tuna and sweetcorn sarnies instead.Shopping day tomorrow for me, luckily.
Youngest now snuggled up with Daddy in bed ,starting with a cold judging by the sneezing she's been doing.

Eldest wide awake watching Dora Explorer for maximum annoyance points. She really needs to go to bed earlier but that's another thread.
Ruby that dressing gown sounds gorge but way out of my price range.I get all my stuff in sales or charity shops since girls came along.

HN happy birthday to your DD hope she enjoys her day too.
Buda thinking of you hun it must be very difficult with so many close friends preggers really hope you are next sweetheart{{{hugs}}.

Right i've finished my ramble...oooh no question; how do i change my name ? Haven't thought of xmassy one yet though.

Quootiepie · 16/11/2006 22:17

lol... I didnt realise you couldnt put metal in the microwave... I put something in a foil dish in there once boy, did it spark!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 22:18

oops.

I got a cherry pip (stone) bag thingy the other day. the same as the wheat ones. Just thought I would try them instead. Need to keep my fingers warm.

It does not say warm for very long though

Jelley · 16/11/2006 22:20

Squatchette,
click on "your registration " at the top and go from there. You need to change it in the box at the bottom the first time you post as well.

DS is in bed asleep, so I'm off up.

Jelley · 16/11/2006 22:21

I've got a lavendar one. It's great. (Sounding scarily middle aged here) My back is knackered and it really helps though...

squatchette · 16/11/2006 22:22

PMSL at you lot death by microwave.Reminds me of the time i wanted to make my mum breakfast in bed i did an egg -didn't know i was meant to crack it first though, enough said.

tortoise · 16/11/2006 22:23

I hate lavender but have a bear thats the wheat one. I forgot i had the frog. Was going to be greedy and have two.lol.

IvortheEngine · 16/11/2006 22:29

Hello all. I've skipped through the thread briefly but that's all. So a general hello from me with the exception of ludaloo who I want to say a "Well done" to for going to the toddler group when hardly anyone spoke to her last time. Good on you, ludaloo. I don't understand why people are so cliquey. Some people feel self conscious about their English I know as they're not as fluent as a first language English speaker, but I'm sure that would only account for a couple of them at most as you're hardly in deepest darkest rural Wales where you are, I'd have thought. What often happens is that a place or group gets a reputation (and probably rightly so) for being very unfriendly to non Welsh speakers and so others don't come and the problem worsens. A balance is necessary but it doesn't always happen that way.

What was the squirrel, a grey or a red? Either way, I personally wouldn't have bothered taking it to the vet I have to admit even though I hate to see animals in pain. I know someone who tried to pick up an injured squirrel and got bitten very hard by the squirrel as a result. She had to go for a tetanus injection.

Good news, I am going to work 3 days a week in future! Yippee! I just have to work out my exact hours and e-mail them to my boss, now. I'm going to rely on these threads to help me get the house in order. I am so looking forward to it though it's only changing from 4 short days to 3 longer days but it'll mean one less trip into town a week and I'll have 2 days when the kids are in school to get a large chunk of house sorting-out done!

tortoise · 16/11/2006 22:31

hi ivor.
we look forward to seeing more of you.

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 16/11/2006 22:32

Thanks squat. I am looking forward to it too

Her 1st birthday was not great as it was not long after xp2 had to leave we were all feeling low. . Although we had fun it was not what I wanted it to be

Q lol. I put a plate with a gold ring going round it. It looked like fireworks going off inside the mico

My keyboard is not working so I will say NN now.

Sleep well and I will see you all at some point tomorrow

NN xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

IvortheEngine · 16/11/2006 22:33
