HN glad to see you're back on your feet and flying.
EHM lol at your ds nickname. My youngest was born with her feet sticking out at a funny angle called something like talapeoids ,anyway DP named her sasquatch (as in big foot )her name is saskia too. Then it got shortened to squatch hence my alias on here.

squatchette · 16/11/2006 15:22

Thanks Satin shoes i'll donate you if that's ok .Good job you are no longer Tin shoes.
Seriously though i'm sure we have plenty of pairs and i'm in town at weekend so will try and take some into clarkes.

squatchette · 16/11/2006 15:28

LOL at link of does and don'ts Satin 'ask the person who the shoes belong to first'.And i was thinking of blindly donating all DP's, he doesn't get out much anyway!
I really must get off here soon but i'm having too nice a time think i'll go nosey at the other threads ,there's been some great ones this last week.

tortoise · 16/11/2006 15:41

Right clothes put away and my room tidied a little.Only took 25mins in all.I'm surprised.
TD emptied(shit that means more washing to put away!)And another load put in.(great even more to put away!)
DD's room needs tidying. Will go do that in a min then will need to think about tea.

squatchette · 16/11/2006 16:49

Hi Tort well done
DDs have been asleep for last 45 mins at the SAME TIME!Can't believe my luck as i'm knackered today after not going to bed last night.Problem is should i wake them up as otherwise i could end up having only a few hours shut eye tonight?
Really don't want to this NEVER happens think i'll wait until dinner is cooked then wake them

satinshoes · 16/11/2006 17:29

HN happy b'day for dd tomorrow....hope you have a lovely day

Haven't read all the way through...hope you are all ok anyway xx

I am just cooking sausages and have to go take my friends kids back for her soon.
She ran over a squirrel this afternoon...and as she is a big softy had to take it home...she phoned the RSPCA who told her to take it to her nearest vets....so that is where she went!
(she rang me to say it was unlikely to make it through the night)she is very upset!

sorry I couldn't help a small grin....

Anyhoo...might be back later...if not see you all tommorrow xx

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 16/11/2006 17:37

Well done tortoise I have put all mine away too. The next lot will soon be dry though.

DS1 is on the mend. He has been more with it this afternoon.

Ds2 came home again covered in mud!! HNtree found out that the playground is having some work done to it, So the teachers are letting them use the sport field to run around at break times. Its ok for the teachers to say play on the field, they don't have to clean up the mess. Its mums and the school cleaners have that to do. HNtree has gone home Its going to feel empty here tonight.

I have looked out 6 pairs of shoes that are great for BP .

DC to bath and to bed in the next 2 hours. We are having pizza and chips for dinner tonight.

Then its balloons and banner putting up time for DD Birthday tomorrow I was wrapping her pressies up at 2:45am this morning

tortoise · 16/11/2006 17:41

Well done ruby! Wish i had all mine done! Hoping bits ending on Ebay tonight will bring in a few pennies to put towards presents!
Keep all your fingers crossed for lots of bits!!
Just had tea.DD2 is tired so early bed again for her i think!

Sorry but have to @ taking squirrel to the vets.Very thoughtful of your friend though. It might of been savable.

Missed your post earlier hn. Sorry ds is still not too good.Hope he picks up soon.

tortoise · 16/11/2006 17:43

crossed posts HN. Glad ds is feeling a bit better.
Have you got DD something nice?
Will be nice for HNTREE to be back home i should think.Although it must of been lovely for her to spend so much time with the DGC.

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 16/11/2006 17:50

Ruby When you get your Silk velvet, full length dressing gown you can get us all one each for Xmas from you.

Ok you wont have any Dc or kidneys left, and probably other parts of your body miss as you would have to sell them too. But we would love you even more for getting them for us lol

WOW how much!! I would be worried about wearing it. I could get 4+ every day outfits for £150 !!

ludaloo Thanks. I hope DD has a fun day too. Looks like DS1 will be feeling much better for tomorrow. Just hope that DD or DS2 do not come down with this flu bug by tomorrow.

satinshoes · 16/11/2006 17:56

Is the dressing gown on the website? I can't find any above £50. Did you read the label wrong?!!

ludaloo · 16/11/2006 18:31

Well done to those who have started xmas wrapping...I have started a bit...might do some more tonight.

I don't have expensive clothes either infact a lot of my clothes come from friends or charity shops!

My friend has just been to collect her kids..so I didn't have to go out...my friend is very soft...maybe a bit too soft!
She spent most of the summer rescuing daddy long legs fom various places (there were loads this summer)she gets quite anxious with small children who come showing you caterpillars and things they have found!

ludaloo · 16/11/2006 18:33

p.s

All the balloons are up Birthday Girl banners everywhere. I cant wait to see her little face tomorrow. DSs were getting excited too

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 16/11/2006 20:03

satinshoes I knew I forgot someone.

I might have more shoes to sort out yet. I have got some of xp2 here. I know he would not mind giving them. His mother used to buy him shoes all the time. It was ones he did not like, he did tell her not to worry about buying them but she would not stop. (she had a thing for shoes) And she knew every pair that she got him too, so he could not even give them away!

HazelnutGettingReadyForChristm · 16/11/2006 20:08

Thought I better change my name now HNtree has gone home.
