I just like being told to go clean - I am generally very obedient, and all I have ever needed is a helpful shove

misdee · 04/09/2006 18:21

i need to be told as well.

ami doing it right? i have done about 4x15mins in there today. tackled a hot spot, and cleaned the top of my tidy-ish fridgefreezer.

coderoo · 04/09/2006 18:22

i havent got a top of my fridge freezer

Cappuccino · 04/09/2006 18:22

no because you have a refrigerated room

with staff constantly checking over your potatoes

coderoo · 04/09/2006 18:23

lol at cappy
cappy youa re funny TOO often

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 18:24

Sounds about right Misdee (sorry for double post )

Potato bag all hunged up... I rummaged, found the drill... drilled a huge hole in our crumbly wall... gave up and screwed the hook into the shelves

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 18:26

I haven't been doing it long enough to know if its working yet, but I'm definitely going to keep it up through September, and see how I am then

coderoo · 04/09/2006 18:26

you drilled?

misdee · 04/09/2006 18:28

i am drilling tonight cod

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 18:29

The plan was drill hole, rawlplug the hook in place... forgot that DH always complains that nothing drills in this house cos 1/2 the walls are too crumbly, and the other half too solid! I doubt he'll spot the holes....

coderoo · 04/09/2006 18:30

wow

domestickler · 04/09/2006 18:40

I have felt cack for most of today, really sickly with a headache and ZERO energy.

This is when FLTYing is brill as I look around and the house is tidy, mission is done, kids bathed and PJed, clothes out for tomorrow, packed lunch made, washing done, dried and put away etc etc

In the past this is one of the days where I would let it really slide and would take a week to put right.

So today. YES it is working and I am a happy Flybaby

popsycal · 04/09/2006 18:45

I am slipping a litte though my sink is always shiny and the dishwsher habit has stuck....

findng the 15 min in zone hard to do when i have ohter rooms that are worse and a tumble drier waiting to be fixed

shazronnie · 04/09/2006 19:20

Hopefully will have some after photos soon...

You have all been busy today! Have DS2's party tomorrow so have been unable to log on all day, and have baked and iced 36 fairy cakes and a chocolate fudge birthday cake.

Kitchen is clean, though, and so is downstairs. Upstairs is terrible.

Cod, I am busy all day, but just not organised, so my busyness is useless. We are terrible clutterers. I love someone telling me what to do when in the house. It makes me feel I might achieve order.

shazronnie · 04/09/2006 19:57

wow singersgirl - all that baking and still a clean kitchen!

How many messages?????????

I'm going to have to sit down with a large cup of coffee to catch up with you all today then girls!

I've had a pretty good day all in all - usual routine stuff (can't believe I'm calling it routine - but it is now! I'm just doing it automatically, bizarre I know)

Did my fridge - fantastic it is now! I couldn't believe how much cr*p was on top of it. And then I did our boiler as well, as this is in the kitchen, covered with magnets, invitations etc. I even got the sticky stuff remover and got rid of a whole load of stickers that I have always hated!! I can't believe how good it all looks now.

Didn't get round to doing all the home blessing stuff but I have had friend's children round since 8.30am this morning (only went at 5pm) and they took a bit of entertaining at times. But our bedroom is good, as is the sitting room. Need to change the linen tomorrow I think.

I hope everyone is well and 'enjoying' their new zone! I'll catch up on the news now.....

tortoise · 04/09/2006 20:34

coderoo · 04/09/2006 20:36

mate that plant needs some water!!!!! adn the slow cooker
d o you really use it

tortoise · 04/09/2006 20:38

shaz i love the door mat.Not sure i'd want my saucepans so close to the floor. And i was going to mention the plant looks a bit limp too!

shazronnie · 04/09/2006 20:39

I do use the slow cooker although it is practically an antique; as for the plants i think i might just let them go to plant heaven - it would prob be kinder in the long run

misdee · 04/09/2006 20:41

i have the same slowcooker and its been fantastic lately.

domestickler · 04/09/2006 21:02

Ohhhhh how exciting, I got on to my detailed cleaning earlier and have cleaned my microwave underneath, outside and in. Boiled up some lemons in it to dislodge the dirt and make it smell nice Anthea eat your heart out!!!

Also decluttered my messy cupboard and reorganised it.
