New thread for a new zone, morning all

lets all do profiles

I have been married 6 years, I have 2 dd's, one is 6 and the other is 16 months and a dd or ds on the way!
I have always been domestically challenged and I think Flylady has the answer.
I have known about flylady for about 2 years but never really got going, I hope that doing it together will change that.

Im up and dressed and fed as usual! Dishwasher and hair to do!

Mission today- clear the flat surfaces in the bathroom,chucking away what you don't need.

Yay 2 days in a row ive already done the mission!!

Im not dressed but up. Have swished and swiped the bathroom, emptied and reloaded dishwasher. About to put a load in the washer.

I have done todays mission too - going to try and sort DSs room as my mission today.

littlemissbossy - the flylady is an american idea that is all about FLYing (Finally Loving Yourself) by helping you to feel in control and on top of everyday life. It starts with the practical stuff like getting your house in order and tidy, coming up with a workable routine that deals with hoovering, cleaning, laundry etc but also builds in much much more like sorting out weekyl food shops and menus, financial sorting out, perspective on life, finding "me" time, appreciating the good out there etc etc. It is very American in it?s tone and language but loved by many anyway
I am not explaining it very well - suggest you check out their website (it is all free advice and can sign up for daily reminders, get organisers, calenders even dusters!!!)

Checking in, shoes on, hair ok, make up ok, dishwasher empty, sink shiny, dinner planned, washing on, bathroom mission done....wow I'm good!

On the other hand; kids rooms messy, dining room hideous, bed not made (although I believe we have 3 more daqys before that has to be part of the routine!), ironing pile mounting up.....

hiya, i haven't been about for a while (ok a day and a half, feels like ages) and haven't kept up to date with kellys missions but i have kept up with my baby steps. to be fair i have been out of the house almost the whole time, so don't shout at me lol.

this weekend i will be very busy cos i will have to clean the whole house (i'll have to do the fly lady crisis clean or whatever it is, at least my bathroom and kitchen are still clean) as my sister is staying in my house while im away on holiday. dp will take ds so i can get on with it.

how is everyone else getting on?
