New thread for a new zone, morning all

lets all do profiles

I have been married 6 years, I have 2 dd's, one is 6 and the other is 16 months and a dd or ds on the way!
I have always been domestically challenged and I think Flylady has the answer.
I have known about flylady for about 2 years but never really got going, I hope that doing it together will change that.
Good Luck to all on a fresh zone

i hope she is ok.
sharon - set you kitchen timer for 15 minutes and tidy something, anything, when you see the results you will want to do more and get your enthusiam back!
i have to get off the pc now and go shopping for stuff for going away next week (going to devon to visit dp's family and show ds off).
dreading the crisis clean tomorrow but at least it will be easier when dp takes ds off my hands for a while
xxx

sounds like none of us are having a very productive day; I think we burned ourselves out by finishing the bathrooms by tuesday!

tortoise · 18/08/2006 14:42

Im sorting my bedroom! Have just put a chest of draws on free cycle!
Will take a while to sort the crap out of them but they are really not needed in my tiny bedroom!

shazronnie · 18/08/2006 14:47

I got a fab sink shining cloth from poundland today.
it is called a microfibre cleaning cloth, same size as a tea towel, but can absorb 8 times its weight in water.

much better for drying than the tea towel, and yes, it was only one pound!!

tortoise · 18/08/2006 14:59

I want one! Wonder if poundland in my nearest big town does them.....

shazronnie · 18/08/2006 15:00

If they haven't I will get you one and post it if you like?

tortoise · 18/08/2006 15:13

OOOh That would be good! Will probably work out cheaper than bus fare anyway!

AmandaP · 18/08/2006 15:48

Hi all - have just returned from day out today, and what is more, I left the house without shining the sink . At least I had emptied the dishwasher and put breakfast things in it. But that's it.

Yesterday was a good day topped by doing 15 mins decluttering (getting rid of 27 things in a bin bag) but then ruined it by going to Ikea and bringing home considerably more than 27 things to replace them with.......

I'm off to shine sink, and find another 101 things to throw out.

Q - how are you? where are you? We're all here if you want some shoulders to cry on.

tortoise · 18/08/2006 15:59

Hi Amanda.
I hope the ikea items don't clutter anywhere up.
Im slowly getting through my bedroom mess! Positive came has come out of it though! While i was doing my room DD1 and DD2 (3 and 2) tidied their room and have done a fab job.

tortoise · 18/08/2006 16:02

Let us know how you are........

Been like the weekend for me the past two days as DH was off work.....so Sat and Sun I'll have to pull my finger back out and declutter etc.!

tortoise · 18/08/2006 16:25

shazronnie · 18/08/2006 16:45

Tortoise - if you want a cloth you can e mail your address to markandronnie at blueyonder dot co dot uk and I will send you one!

Cloth costs £1 (obviously) and it will not cost more than 50p to post.

tortoise · 18/08/2006 16:46
