A thread for chatter and nonsense

I have a bit of running around to do today. I am helping out with a fundraiser in a nearby village later on but have to get dd to the stables and collect ds somewhere along the way too.

Dh wanted to run before I started but he really should be up by now if he does. There is no way I am waking him though. That idea is way to scary for this time in the morning.

We have either a heavy frost or very light snowfall. Is it like that everywhere?

Toddler came in around 6-6:15 this morning but was happily playing on our bed while we slept laid there is silence.

We've come down for breakfast now but as per usual Toddler's playing laying out train track configurations before considering breakfast.

Yes indeed! He's normally up between 6 & 7 anyway, so I'm not complaining. And it only took 20 minutes (approx) for him to stay in bed, so he was settled by 7:25ish. WAHOO!

I just coughed and Toddler said "Bess you Mum!" So I said, "Oh, thank you Toddler" and he said "Hank You Mum." The start of a proper conversation, I think!

, his "Fix this" is sounding suspiciously like his "breakfast" and seeing as he wants to eat and play I don't know what he wants!

We have sun here, no frost carrots.

I have added a couple more photo's to my profile. now I have worked out how to do it.

I still haven't had breakfast, I should go and get it now.

I just got a "Mmm, yum, cereal, very nice!" from Toddler. Who knew Cheerios deserved such high praise?

I haven't found my "Get up and go yet"

I've had a lazy morning.

im having a dreadful day

dd2 woke up before 5 then decided when i told her in no uncertain terms it was not morning woke everyone else and proceeded to wind them all up into a frenzy

chaos reigned as we went to morisons,little zoo vhaseing her pushing the buggy into peoples annkles me and ds apologizing and trying keep them in line

Eeeek! zoo! Torture! Offering moral support and happy to listen to rants if and when required.

I have been driving around the countryside like a maddie dropping off baking for a fundraiser and then collecting my ddad who wanted to take dd out to buy her some sports gear and riding gear that he wanted to get her. He is soooooo good to our dcs. She is over the moon. He then offered to take her to the stables so that I could get down to the fundraiser earlier to help out.

I have spent until now chatting to the public and slapping transfer tattoos on unsuspecting children (and one adult) who came within a 10 foot radius and looked like they might have some cash on them

Hopefully my friend has made lots of money for Macmillan.

I also saw a lot of people I haven't seen for ages, one who I haven't seen for approx 20 years so I am glad I made the effort.

I am shattered now because it was really noisy but I still have to go up to the stables to collect dd in a wee while so I can't get too settled.

You are an artistic soul Cats. Your photos are lovely. It would probably help your MH a lot if you could find a way of doing something artistic/creative more often. It looks to me like you have some untapped talent.

The whole area where you live has a calming effect Cats. It is beautiful.

Anyone got a blanket? I am freezing, despite several layers making me look like I am pregnant!

we have a robin that has nested in my or next doors garden as long as ive lived in this house

Robins are lovely! I have added sea picture. We went there this afternoon for a walk. The wind was a bit cold though.

Must be nice near you though carrots. I would imagine it is anyway!

I have put on my big cosy ugly jumper and don't care what the posh mums think when I got to collect dd in a mo.

It is stunning round here too Cats but in a very different sort of way. It does lift the spirits, especially with my two dogs to go romping through it all with. I should upload some of my local pics too.

We have a robin too but I doubt I would manage to get a pic of him. He is very cheeky mind you and often sits on the windowsill. This week a blue tit (I think) has been sitting there too. I keep a big tub of guinea pig food on the windowsill on the inside so I suspect that is what temps them.

if you are gardening he will come and swipe worms from fresh dug earth within touching distance!

im so fed up today.its been horrible.have been in bed for an hour his afternoon crying while dd2 continues to lead the zoolets on the rampage
ds is melting down with tired rage every 10mins
ive lost thte will to live

I must go and sort some dinner now but will be lurking on and off.

still havent put all the shopping awayform this morning so suppose better get off my bum and do that!
