Morning all, I have been up since 3.00am . Have tried but can't get back to sleep. Will need to try and nap later.

DDs both woke at usual time of 7 but sounds like they are both going to bring colds home with them

Hi Bessie You were lucky with 7.00am.

DD woke up at 7.00 to but was awake at 1.00am as well.

I woke at 1. briefly then woke at 2.30 and couldn't get back to sleep, got up at 3.00am. was awake till 5 then slept 1 hour on sofa.

Carrots I like the same ones as bessie too.

We're out this morning but will be back around 12:30/1:00 if anyone will be around to give me a pointy stick.

Feeling very tired today - it's the end of a pear-shaped week and I don't think I slept well either! Trying to do an hour's work before Drs appointments!

Carrots, I hope your appointment with ds goes well ( oh and I love your latest bracelet)!

Cats I am relieved to see you are back to your usual user name. I have had a couple of nights where I can't sleep this week too so I can sympathise.

I think in my case they were partially caffeine related. I am going to switch to camomile tea in the evenings and make my evenings as restful as possible.

I was told by a colleague never to lie awake for more than 20mins. If you are awake that long she advised getting up to the loo, or reading a book for 10 mins or something like that to break the mental pattern of lying awake with your mind racing. When I remember it usually does help.

I had an awful dream last night that kept coming back every time I went back to sleep. I dreamt that one of my friends had an affair with dh. They are the most unlikely pairing and dh actually finds her really irritating but I was still devastated in my sleep.

I ended up getting up and going in to climb in with him and then we ended up oversleeping. Ooops!

I like the wire bracelets better as well. It is a bit frustrating because the woven ones are much more fun to make but the end result isn't really my style. The others require much less skill but I think they are much prettier. If I was going to sell stuff I am pretty sure they would sell better than the woven ones.

I still have a lot to learn though so any potential selling is a long way off.

Well done to the mini bessies on their sleep but boo to colds. Dcs have a nasty habit of picking things up as soon as they go somewhere new. We all have one here and it is a complete pita tbh.

Arti I hope your appts go well too and are not too intrusive on the rest of your day.

I have a lot to get done today and have got glued to the sofa in a rabbit in the headlights fashion.

dd2 woke with cough at 11 and 4

Zoo it is telling when 4 hrs is a treat! I am sitting in the waiting room while dh parks the car. A friend works at the hospital and when he heard the horrors we go thru to get here he gave us the code for his car park. Saves us 6 quid a visit for park and ride and several hours on public transport.

Just popping in to say "Hi" again. I feel exhausted so won't be doing much till I get a nap. Been to town this morning as there were some things we had to do.
Have to return to docs later as prescription wasn't ready .

Zoo Glad you got some good sleep and you feel good .

little zoo has been chosen as star of the week

this invovles bringing home a teddy called Mayo and his out and about book.

each friday a child is chosen and they have to photograph mayo doing things with them over the weekend and stick it in the book and take it back monday and show and tell

so far hes been swimming,to a farm,helped bake cakes,built snowmen,been shopping and to the park,dressed up,brushed his teeth and shared various meals/snacks and drinks!

little zoo is beside herself with excitement!!!!

im now sidling off for a well earned nap on sofa while ds and lil zoo watch a dvd

Just home from soft play and Toddler's been put down. I'm having my lunch -- anyone around to chat?

From further discussion this morning it looks like ds does not have autism. Yay! He has some quirks and some traits in common with it but not the full thing. He does have to go in for further "analysis" though

i had a pootle round on net and read of free tomato seeds so wandered over for a look

its dvd night in he zoo house so im about to snuggle on sofa with zoolets and watch Annie!

cats ds is better than was thanks.he gets a bit breathless when we walkto school.but isnt wheezing now

he has 1 dose steriods left at bedtime

he hasnt eaten much so is still a work in progress

sadly he is getting snotty again and a bit flushed so hoping he isnt getting another cold on top!

I am glad he is on the mend zoo. My ds has just about lost his voice but he assures me it doesn't hurt and he is lively and bouncy.

Did you sign up for the Tesco cleaning products trial zoo? I did and got an email to say that I was part of the trial etc but nothing has appeared yet.

I am going to the theatre tonight so I have done my bit for the fundraiser which is on at the school tonight and dh is taking dd to the stables (I wouldn't be back in time to get there if he didn't) so I am having a surprisingly restful afternoon. It is usually all go at this time of day.

Am home again now, just been to pick up prescription.

Need to decide what's for dinner next.

Sometimes the weekends are the loneliest as there is no basic schedule to break up the day and no wee chats at the school gates etc.

I have an elderly lady who claims to have has my number as the number for her friend. She calls every now and again looking for her friend. She's called me at least 10 times in the last half an hour trying to reach her friend.

Carrots, I'm part of that Tesco product trial. I got an email saying there was a hiccup and the product was delayed.

I really need to go and read back but I have Toddler eating cereal (a snack/late lunch ) so can't focus properly cuz I'm paranoid about choking.

PMT and lack sleep does not make for patient non shouty mummies

they are all banished upstairs while i try an d calm down and decide whether we shall actually be able to watch dvd together nicely as dd2 seems to be in a looking-for-a-fight-mode and ds and little zoo are rising to the bait
