Thanks carrots. I was leaning towards passing them on for love but didn't know if that was cruel to animals. LOL Honestly, I think I just needed reassurance that you can have too many stuffies and that they should go to a home that has few/none.

Slainte Mhor Cats

I am ready for round two.

I made £117 on ebay tonight. Grin

Decluttering is now my best friend!

Scout19075 · 22/04/2012 21:11

Wow, well done carrots!

CatsintheKitchen · 22/04/2012 21:17

Well done! carrots What kind of things did you sell?

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 21:21

It was outgrown clothes and outgrown dressing up outfits, once belonging to the dcs, with a couple of toys as well. Nothing big. It will take a while to pack it all and I will have to do a few visits to the post office or I will be lynched!

CatsintheKitchen · 22/04/2012 21:26

How does ebay work then? How does the person paying get the money to you?
[dim emoticon]

bessie26 · 22/04/2012 21:30

Hope the zoolets sleep well tonight zoo

Woo-hoo! for TS in his big boy bed! Grin

Well done to carrots on making all that money! Will it go towards DH's gadget?

I am tired & fed up. I need a holiday. Luckily we are going away tomorrow, but of course that means I have to pack every sodding thing in the house. I really CBA.

CatsintheKitchen · 22/04/2012 21:35

Have a lovely time bessie. Smile

Can I be nosey and ask where you are going?

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 21:38

Ha ha bessie! Dh says, "Kerching!" I will throw the party cake at him, not you! Grin

Packing to go away with little ones is awful. It is still grim when they get bigger but not quite as bad. I am learning to take less gradually but we also gradually need less too. Good luck with it.

Cats I have a paypal account and the buyers pay into it - they pay the cost of the item and the cost of postage and packaging. You can do it other ways but Paypal is the easiest and the safest.

I can't link to Paypal for you as it is a secure site but if you put "Paypal" into Google then it will take you to their page.

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 21:39

Yes, enjoy yourself bessie. We always have a wonderful time once we drive away from the house Grin

Scout19075 · 22/04/2012 21:43

I've managed to put all of those toys from the box into a paper bag with handles. Off to the sure start/children's center office tomorrow to drop off. Also have another hidden bag to take up for donation. Ssshhhh.

Might do all of that in the morning, come back for lunch and Toddler's rest then take him for a surprise trip swimming. I found out another pool in the county, not far from here, offers toddler & parent sessions and the have a toddler flume! A slide AND a pool -- Toddler should be in heaven.

CatsintheKitchen · 22/04/2012 21:44

Thanks carrots, I was just curious as I've never been on ebay and wasn't sure how these things worked.

CatsintheKitchen · 22/04/2012 21:48

I'm off to bed now.

(ran out of paint before it was finished)

Night all. xx

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 21:55

Night Cats.

Well done Scout - get it all out of the house asap! The pool sounds magic. Ds is already excited about the one we will go to on holiday in July which has a slide that he is not scared of!

Scout19075 · 22/04/2012 22:23

My friend recommended the pool. We said we'd take the kids swimming there sometime but I thought I'd take TS tomorrow if for no other reason then they'll have showers and we can get clean.

Got a couple of things into the loft. Not nearly what I was hoping to. But baby steps. There seem to be boxes of papers in the cupboard under the stairs (in the kitchen) that I'm going to shift to Toddler's room tomorrow so I can put the boxes of baking stuff in. I can't put the cake tins into cupboards because I simply don't have the cabinet space but they're tins I use. That would be two boxes out of my kitchen.

I have plans, oh yes I do. I just need to get MrScout to comply. Wink

bessie26 · 22/04/2012 22:23

We are going to Centre Parcs cats, so not particularly exciting, but easy & good for the DDs. I haven't been in the pool with DD1 for months (I don't go in for her lessons), so am looking forward to that Grin They do have slides, but I haven't seen them so am not sure if they are suitable for little people.

I forgot earlier to send congratulations to scout for getting permission to get rid of some boxes! Yay! I do hope this is a good sign for the future?! Grin

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 22:32

Once you have dcs bessie anywhere that is not home is exciting. I would love to be going to Centre Parcs tomorrow if someone else did the packing.

bessie26 · 22/04/2012 22:37

I know what you mean carrots, but part of me thinks it's just the same old shit, different bed!

I'd better goto bed now or I will be all tired & grumpy when panic-packing in the morning!

carrotsandcelery · 22/04/2012 22:42

It is always easier when it is a different sink to shine though bessie and you don't have quite as much stuff to manage while you are there.

I hope you have a fabulous time!

Scout19075 · 22/04/2012 22:45

Enjoy your holiday, bessie!

I'm off to wash up the few bowls/forks/spoons in the sink then go to bed.
