Hi bessie Dd is fine and seems to be "enjoying" the extra attention that comes with a minor injury that doesn't cause you too much hassle.
Ds is very sad and keeps getting upset with me about it. Believe me if I could make it right for him I would but I suppose I am the safe place to let out his frustration. The group involved a lot of children he felt safe with and had a good time with and encouraged him to play with a mixed group which didn't involve any of the boys at school who make life difficult for him. He counts down the days to this activity so is now just so sad.
He will be able to pick it up again in a few years time but that is no consolation to him now. To a newly 7 year old a few years is a lifetime away.
I have done the Christmas shop, more or less. I haven't got the ingredients for dh to make trifle as I am not sure exactly how he wants to do it this year.
So far it is all sitting on the kitchen floor as I can't face doing anything with it now. I went far too long without eating and ended up all wobbly and headachey so just plonked it all down and there it has remained.
I also haven't done the dishes, worktop, laundry... I will get to it but just can't make myself now.
I did manage to drop off another 2 Christmas parcels though.
I have also managed to blether with my friend over coffee for far longer than we intended and then wander around a local Garden Centre Christmas shop for even longer
I also had a cuppa with my ddad which was lovely. He was the only one in so we had a good chat.
I also seem to have managed to buy an extra box of chocolates. There was a special deal and it seemed wasteful just to buy the one box I intended to

The best thing of all was that Morrisons were selling my favourite brie and cranberry parcels in their party food section. Uber unhealthy but so so so delicious!!

bessie that is quite a list but you have made good progress already.
