He'll want to eat when he gets home. Usually I have warning if he's going to be late. So I'll just leave everything out (made tacos) but covered and will clean up my stuff and Toddler's.

I'm still doing jobs -- much easier to do without MrScout around. Wink Tomorrow's bin day so want to make sure stuff gets out tonight so I'm not running out in my 'jammies at silly o'clock in the morning.

I am Smile I went to iron what I needed to from today's wash and realised it had all been towels, vests, underwear, pyjamas etc and none of it needed ironing. Result!

I think I will have a Brew to celebrate!

Enjoy your Brew

Scout19075 · 04/01/2012 20:24

YAY roast!

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 20:32

Testing out reverting to my normal name. Smile

Dishwasher is on and I am chilling infront of American Horror for a while, closely followed by Walking Dead - want to take bets on my chances of sleeping?

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 20:35

excellent ironing news parsnips!

I've no more cleaning to do today, but I'm trying to knock a few more chores off my list. I need to buy some more cleaning products (I usually buy my ecover in bulk from www.naturalcollection.com & store it in the garage) and I want to see if I can get some bigger sleeping bags for DD2 in a sale somewhere (I'm sure we've got some bigger ones somewhere from DD1, but we can't find them!). Oh, and I might have a bit more chocolate that needs decluttering Grin

liveinazoo · 04/01/2012 20:37

having put last kids toys away form after school playing im now feeling quite proud what ive achieved today
i will watch one born every minute in a bit then have a final admie my sink before turning in
see you all tomorrow for the school run exodus and the dishcloths flying at dawnGrin

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 20:37

Hmm chocolate decluttering - maybe I should do a couple more chores then? Grin

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 20:39

ahhhh carrots my poor brain is relieved to have you back!

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 04/01/2012 21:03

Welcome back Carrots I was getting a bit confused about what to call you!Wink Smile

Shopping done, DC in bed, time for a shower now otherwise I won't get one.

Might come back later and declutter some chocolates too!

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 21:19

My plan has been scuppered by crying baby...

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 21:22

Oh no! What's up with littlebessie? Sad And can you still pop some chocolates in while you comfort her? [optimistic emoticon]

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 21:31

I think it's just teeth, I've calpoled her & she's fallen asleep on my shoulder. Am just psyching myself up to try to get her into bed.

As soon as she started crying I made sure I very quickly finished the job in hand Wink - I just have 2 cherry flavoured mini G&B bars left Luckily DH loves them so I will pretend I have saved them for him!

Am gutted I'm missing OBEM, I've never seen it as I was pg this time last year & too chicken to watch it!

redlac · 04/01/2012 21:39

carrots what episode are you on with American Horror story? I've watched them all and it's fabulous!

bessie poor wee thing hope the transfer from shoulder to bed goes smoothly

I'm off to bed to stop me from raiding the fridge/chocolate stash!

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 21:40

Poor wee toot bessie. It's not easy sometimes being a baby Sad

Dh watched one OBEM with me last year (a relative of a friend of mine) and was so upset he refused to watch it ever again. (I was whisked off in an ambulance after dd was born with tubes everywhere - more traumatic for him than me as all I wanted to do was go to sleep) Soooo we don't watch OBEM anymore Grin (btw I was completely fine very, very quickly but it looked a lot worse than it was)

Do you have any facility to tape it bessie or get it on an iplayer type set up?

AngelsfromtherealmsofgloryDog · 04/01/2012 21:55

Hope baby bessie feels better soon.

FLYing this evening has been scuppered by DS not wanting to go to sleep. I am distinctly lacking enthusiasm although I'm trying to work on a plan to help him sleep better.

I need to whizz round the kitchen, load the dishwasher, put some soup in the fridge and get to bed.

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 04/01/2012 21:57

Shower done, chocolate decluttering has commenced Grin.
I have Roses and Thorntons, would anyone like to help?

bessie I hope DD settles o.k. for you.

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 22:10

babyBessie is back in bed & cleaning products have been ordered Smile

angel how old is your DS? Hope your plan works!

carrots that sounds scarily dramatic, perhaps you could have been on the show?! They whisked DD1 off straight after she was born (prem), so my main concern this time last year was that DD2 was going to be the same.... the little monkey ended up being a week overdue!

Off to look for some cheap sleeping bags now, then to put the washing up on the drainer away & give the sink one last clean.

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 04/01/2012 22:17

Right I best be off to bed.

AngelsfromtherealmsofgloryDog · 04/01/2012 22:17

He was 2 yesterday. Xmas Grin

DH did some washing up for me, bless him.

Eggrules · 04/01/2012 22:20

night babybessie.

Sinked and about to watch CSI Series 1 before I go to bed.

Not sure about this; I want a new kitchen from IKEA with this sink

AngelsfromtherealmsofgloryDog · 04/01/2012 22:23

Not yesterday, Monday! Xmas Blush

bessie26 · 04/01/2012 22:29

egg that will be two sinks to shine every night!

happy belated birthday miniAngel Grin

I had forgotten how expensive baby sleeping bags are. May have to put a request out on fb to see if any of my friends would like to loan/sell me theirs!

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 22:34

Aww "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE ANGEL" How did we miss that?

It wasn't that dramatic bessie - I haemoraged (sp?) and couldn't stay conscious. As soon as they got fluids into me I was able to stay awake. I knew I was ok half way to hospital but dh wasn't allowed in the ambulance so he didn't know that and was deeply traumatised by the whole thing.

How prem was dd1? One of ds's friends was 10 weeks early and it was touch and go but he is a sturdy wee lad now and you would never know. My ddad's friend was 1lb when he was born very early (70 odd years ago) and was put in a shoe box on the range. He is now 6' 4" and about 17 stone, healthy and lively Grin

carrotsandcelery · 04/01/2012 22:35

Well done on the sink Egg but I agree - that is 2 sinks to shine Shock
