Curious, I know it’s nosey.

We are looking at a package deal for just over £2000, all in, all inclusive and for 5 days. 4 years ago we only paid £1300 for something very similar and think we stayed an extra night. Is this the normal kind of price hike that everyone else has been finding when booking too? We don’t have to think about school hols either just yet which I know is very lucky - I was looking for a week in later spring and it was obvious very quickly which one was half term.

@Crikeyalmighty We noticed that decades ago on Cape Cod. Sea view seats in restaurants gone by 5.30pm. We have got some beautiful stays lined up for May and I’m doing my research on supermarkets!

£7200 for a week AI in Crete.in May school holidays. We are staying in a villa with a private pool within a 5* resort. That’s for 2 adults 3 kids.
£6000 for two weeks in an apartment in Marbella area of Spain. We are changing locations half way through to mix things up a bit. That’s for 3 adults and 3 kids. We usually budget about £6000 ish for spending money so probably come in at about £12k in total.

-Thailand £4.5K last month 2 Adults 10 nights all in, including excursions, internal flights, spending money etc, booked independently. Hadn't flown long haul for nearly 10 years prior to that (hate flying).
-Spain in July for 6 nights staying with friends staying at their apartment - spent £230 on flights and will just need spending money on top of that.
-France 2 adults 2 teenage kids - free travel out on ferry with family, free accommodation with family. Just spent £135 (which I thought was super cheap) for our flights home and will need spending money.
