Ridiculously excited for holiday! Anyone else?

I’m so excited to be going away this weekend that I can’t stop clock watching! Time is adding incredibly slowly as I count down the hours to my flight on Saturday.
For the past few nights I’ve even woken up at 4am bursting with excitement! It’s becoming quite annoying now and I wish I could focus on something
else.
Is anyone else feeling the same? How are you passing the time?

We are going until the last 2 weeks of the summer holidays, i’m looking forward to it as it’s a big family one to celebrate a family birthday together and I’m going to love spending time with my nieces and nephews. The house looks beautiful and I’m envisaging myself bobbing about on a lilo being propelled about by the kids etc but I’m not really excited. I love being on holiday but hate flying so much that I think it doesn’t allow me to get excited - once those wheels hit the tarmac I’m so relieved and can start to feel happy!

A week to go until we are in Ibiza very excited but not looking forward to LGW if the baggage handlers stick to their strike

I LOVE holidays!

We’re leaving for a cruise around Italy, Greece and Turkey on Sunday and I can’t bloody wait 🤩. We’re going with my parents and sisters family 😄.

Just to pre empt the post holiday blues, I booked next years holiday yesterday 🙈 10 days in Side, Antalya ☀️.

Two weeks to go for my family. We are going on a road trip around Spain. Can’t bloody wait and I won’t care of it’s too hot, fed up of the rain here.

Excited about going away in a couple of week's time. We are flying out to Florida and seeing 21y Dd. She's been working at Disney for the summer so we haven't seen her for a few weeks now. Very excited to be seeing her! And also excited to get some hot weather ☀️

Yes! Off to France tomorrow and delighted the Gatwick strikes have been called off. Weather forecast is mixed but going to try and not stress about it.

@ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea it’s my first cruise 😄. We’re with Royal Caribbean sailing from Civitavecchia. Honestly cannot wait 😆.

Anyone flying from Manchester make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to check in. It was crazy this morning. Security was very slow.

Going to France next week never looked forward to a holiday so much keep smiling at the prospect of it !

@lovescats3 I think that’s the feeling that makes booking holidays addictive. The anticipation is part of the enjoyment.

Some of Manchester's terminals have been really bad in school holidays recently, but then get times when it's almost empty. We try to get fast track where possible just incase.

Terminal 1 we walked straight through with no queues last Saturday morning, but that was an internal flight.

Supposed to be in Rhodes. Flight was Wednesday.

How’s your holiday going?! 😃

2.5 weeks to go until our long weekend in Paris, and 5 weeks till our holiday in Greece. Feels like time has ground to a halt, argh!

@Usernamen I’ve spent every day telling DH ‘See, this is why I’ve been so excited!’

Have also spent some time on the beach researching the next holiday to give me something else to be excited for on return.

Greece (Cyclades) are very hot right now so should be perfect for you in three weeks.

We have 3 days left of our holiday. It really has been brilliant.

We've met up with friends who live in Torremelinos, met my parents in Malaga who stopped off on their cruise ship, relaxed, recharged and ate far too much good food!
