Bedgebury is holding a Christmas 'Lapland UK' Experience

... covering a part of the forest with fake snow, Christmas village, Raymond Briggs 'The Snowman' ride, Father Christmas visit, mulled wine to fortify parents, reindeer, husky dogs, trumpeters and all sorts. I'm soooo excited. Er, for my children, obviously...

It's quite expensive though (I just paid £167 for a family of 5). Here is the link. And here is the itinery.

And it's selling out quite quickly.

Ah they'll all be packing their sleeping bags and queuing outside for tickets.

Robbo will be there at the front, gallantly ofering them all the use of his hose.

Dorothy will be offering them a tree to hug while they wait.

Christine and Imogen will be there to sprinkle Santa dust and sing Christmas carols.

OMG that is so funny.

So shall I log in about 9am to see their response, or do you reckon they start work a bit later in PR

bran · 20/08/2008 19:35

at catinthehat. That first photo is definitely Dorothy.

bubblerock · 20/08/2008 19:36

pmsl at this review on Trip Advisor from a previous link:

A fantastic day for the family. Mould wine for the adults, ginerbread for the children, everything just seemed to work! Mrs Christmas was excellent. A tradition set it stone for my family. Please come back next year!

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 20/08/2008 19:49

Arf @ mould wine!

petitmaman · 20/08/2008 19:49

This sounds fantastic . I want to go!! (for the dds of course )
BUT, how have you all booked already? when i went to the link and tried the phone no it said you couldn't book until the 8th sept. if you are all booking now clearly it will be sold out....are you all members of some sort of secret society?! help!

WaynettaSlob · 20/08/2008 20:17

PMSL - and to think I was about to hide this!!!

BTW - Funny how the only two people on the thread who refer to MN as a blog (which it clearly isn't) are Dorothy and Robbie!!

EachPeachPearMum · 20/08/2008 20:32

OMG! I love the way they all call mn 'blogging' pmsl

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 20/08/2008 20:35

petitmaman - those who went last year have been sent priority booking emails but are you quite sure people are booking?, given that this thread is the one I started last year when we were all excited by it's shiny newness.

Now my thread is sullied and slushy like the Lapland UK paths.

rofl @ Threadwworm.

Dot - do you really think you're doing Lapslack any favours by posting here?

I don't think I'll be going, even though there's the potential that I'll meet fireman Rob.
