Does anyone know when Keele usually start sending out interview invites?

@SoTiredNeedHoliday are you sitting comfortably 😂. Keele have to read and score every application so can take a long time. Some didn't hear anything until May last year. Some much earlier. But they're not usually fast (they'll probably come out tomorrow now I've said this 😂).

Interviews (not just invites) started happening round here; DC friends having interviews in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow this week.

My daughter has this, its a busy week here! Aberdeen in a couple of weeks all done by mid December!

My son has had a rejection from Leeds. He did ok in the UCAT but the SLT score was band 4 ☹️. We are half expecting him to have to do a gap year.

Do your mind me asking what UCAT score he got?

So sorry to hear that DrFoxtrot. My DD has applied there with 2720 - band 3. As far as I know, she hasn't heard from them.

His UCAT score was 2640. We have accepted that a gap year is a distinct possibility. He's also applied to Bristol, although I think the UCAT score cut off there will count him out, Sheffield and UCLAN.

Don't know why I said SLT score 🙈 although I am paranoid about him googling his score and banding for advice and coming up with my thread replies 😂. So hopefully the error has helped.

😂 if your user name gives a clue, i suspect it comes with the occupation territory, especially in paediatrics

DD received a ‘your application is on hold’ email from Bristol. Her UCAT was 3060 and SJT 1 so we’d hoped for an interview. Need to be patient and see what on hold means in reality.

@justjuggling 90% of people will get an on hold from Bristol. It just means they've processed his application ! He's still in with a chance of an interview - they just go through every one first and then send them out invites (except to the insanely high ones). If the UCAT has gone above 3,000 this year it will be total madness. Hang on in there !!!
