Mouse - that is shocking! Sounds like she is now strong enough to get out and well done her for posting a pic on his FB, i hope all his friends get to see it.

DH has got me some spatone now, so feel i am doing something about feeling rubbish.

Just randomly had another contraction, i am sat with my feet up on the sofa and have done nothing all day.

I think there are times when that word is very apt Double

Mouseface · 22/06/2010 12:41

Double - agreed.

MIL and SIL are here so be back later tonight.

Assumingly on a new thread.

Bye for now xxxx

Lizzylou · 22/06/2010 12:43

Agree with Alice, Cunt seems very fitting.

How horrendous, I can't get how people can do that to another person, especially not one they are supposed to love
How are her children, Mouse?

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 12:47

Mouse, how awful. Have a relaxing afternoon.

Alice, yay for spatone! Are you having protein and fat to keep blood sugar level? That used to make me a little woozy.

Double - instructions

hellsbelles · 22/06/2010 12:48

mouse - how bloody horrific.

Lizzy - IT WILL WORK. How many days have you done now?

SAF - brilliant....well done

shiney do not leave us again.

Bitter - I've been gone because I've been watching Prison Break. It's sucking me in! I was a bit unsure to begin with as it doesn't have quite the same pace as 24 (but then nothing does!)...but wentworth has seduced me with that beautiful face. However I would like an immediate recasting of the brother. I find his huge, thick neck inexplicably annoying. And I cannot find a single pang of compassion for his clod like persona . I assume he turns in to a slightly more sympathetic character later on?

Yank - you heart breaker you.

Double - xh sounds like a twunt.

Where's bella & fluff? Waves to trills and DEM et al.

Back to work I go. See you all later.

Your welcome. Ooh, exciting haircut!

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 12:57

No, no no!!!! You're welcome!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/06/2010 12:59

Afternoon.

Mouse, bloody hell, your poor friend. My SIL is also with a cunt partner who regularly beats the crap out of her - at least your friend has worked up the courage to leave.

Alice take it easy.

Helles - You will end up loving all of the characters, I promise.

We watched the first episode of The Wire last night - I think I'm going to like it.

Such a fabulous day here, it's so bright and sunny. I have been lying in the garden with my book, but now DD is awake and she can burn through factor 50 so I think we will be inside in the shade this afternoon.

TrillianAstra · 22/06/2010 13:18

It's so sunny...

Took my lunch outside but really should focus and do work today.

Hells it has been a week, though was not good on Sunday
Ilb off on Saturday, haven't weighed since though feel better now, felt horrific on Friday and Saturday, just bleurgh, I normally eat so much salad and veg/fruit, it just seems very alien I expect.
I have upped water intake and yesterday and today have enjoyed my meals so far.

Just shredded as well, so all good today.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 22/06/2010 14:15

Mouse how awful, glad she is strong though.

Well I am at wits end now, if it is not BIL or SIL then it is DH. He has just presented me for a diesel bill for £650 which he racked up over the winter, his excuse is that we didn't have the money which we did, I now have to go get a loan for this as BIL has rainy day money. So down at the moment, I just start to see light at end of the tunnel and this happens. I just can't understand why they are all so sly about money. I know this is nothing compared to what SIL is going through but just had enough.

TotalChaos · 22/06/2010 14:26

afternoon ladies. got called to school to pick up DS, as he had gone pale/sleepy/tired etc - think he's not v. good with the heat, and not v. good at remembering to take his jumper off . He's fine now, have parked him with squash, chocolate hoops cereal in front of TV.

Mousey - hope the bastard gets a proper sentence.

Alice - can you call up a midwife this afternoon, explain you're not feeling right today?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 22/06/2010 14:28

TC - did they not get hime to take his jumper off? Hope he is OK.

Alice, sorry to have missed on that you are not felling good.

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 14:37

Fanny - i think you are going to have to put your foot down a bit. (i mean this in the nicest possible way, it makes me so cross that you work so bloody hard and then get treated like this!)

Total - poor ds, it is hot.

No point phoning MW, last called her about missing bloods 4weeks ago, asked to be called back. Still haven't heard back despite her knowing i had spent half a week in hospital. Tbh, if i feel like this it is likely to be either iron related, a UTI or not looking after myself properly. After the weekend when i didn't eat properly, drank too many cups of tea and the bump has had a growth spurt, it seems likely to be the iron.

TotalChaos · 22/06/2010 15:03

Five - x-posted with the diesel bill post - v. sorry you are being pissed around like this, I would be positively homicidal in your position.

oh they did get him to take his jumper off when he went all pale and funny etc!

alice- sorry mw is so shit overworked - you've still not convinced me you don't need to talk to a medic though - as surely UTI should be treated? plenty of drinks and iron rich foods can't do any harm in the meantime though...

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 15:20

Well, seeing as DH is a vet, that technically means he is a medic

If i went into labour SAF, i would be going to hospital! Although, to be fair, because DH has a medical backgroundd and is calm in a crisis, i am happy having him with me while i am in labour/have the baby. IF it was anyone else i would much rather be on my own.

Double - any news on your dog at all?
