Good luck DEM!!!!

Welcome back Shiney. Yes, I think we need a Shiney story. It's been too long.

Double, 8 years?!

Bitter, at your glasses. DH colleagues can always tell if he's got a bad hangover when he's in his glasses.

Mmm, cheesecake... had a lovely one in Portmeirion last week.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/06/2010 10:18

Morning Lizzy, very fraustrating wasn't it.

Not paranoid, I just don't fit in with the general 'tracksuits and tramp stamps' vibe that is prevalent around here.

I guess I can live with that.

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:19

Ooh, Bitter, sorry, remembered you've got awesome glasses that everyone is jealous of, not infrequent glasses like DH.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/06/2010 10:19

Hey wasting. I think I can overlook my 'I don't like cake' tendancy for cheesecake. Mmmmm

TrillianAstra · 22/06/2010 10:20

Just seen the best quote (from TheCoalitionNeedsYou)

Lets just settle this once and for all; anything I do is right and proper. Anything you do that is not exactly what I do is either pretentious or chavvy depending on whether or not I would secretly like to do it.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/06/2010 10:21

I might have to get DH to take a piccy of me in them so you lot can have a laugh give me your opinion.

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:23

They certainly are causing a stir!

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:23

That's very true Trills.

Tha's a fab quote Trills.

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 10:25

Wasting - DH is the same. You can tell if he's having a bad time by the fact he hasn't brushed his hair, he hasn't shaved and he is wearing his glasses.

Feel really rubbish this morning. Thought it was just a hard to wake up thing this morning, but i have got the shakes and feel very weak and a bit breathless. Think my iron levels have dipped again due to bump growth spurt and lack of food over the weekend. Have run out out of spatone too.

Now eating carrots and houmous, with orangina despite not feeling hungry.

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

You all seem very sunny today!

Well done SAF, you'll need to careful you don't whizz down the plug hole when you shower!

at Double and her heartbreaking!!

I see our leader has resolved her technical issues!

Yank - glad XH is getting there and you can actually talk to one another. at your fb guy......

I had real problems getting onto MN today and yesterday but once I managed to get on, and open a thread, it's fine.....weird??!!

Well, I had the night from hell. I had a migraine (SP?) and was up from 4 til 6.15 trying to stop shaking and crying. I got myself so worked up because of the pain.

It's years since I had one. I just sat at the top of the stairs in the dark rocking trying not to wake anyone up.......... I had no meds so had to take tylex and ibrup which took over an hour to kick in. Then I felt so sick I didn't dare move.

And the one night that DS seemed really settled, I get no sleep!!!

Anyway, MIL and SIL are coming today. MIL hasn't seen DS for months, PIL didn't even see him on his first birthday but that's a rant for a rainy day!

We're having another BBQ later!! Yippee!! More protien, yum!

It's so glorious here, really warm already and ssssssooooooooo sunny. The sky is a gorgeous shade of blue.

Makes me smile.

It lends you a certain air of gravitas Shiney.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/06/2010 10:33

Mouse, Migraines are the pits. I've not had one for a couple of years but when I have one I swear I can feel my hair growing, it's so painful.

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:35

Oh Mousey, you poor thing! Hope the ILs can give you a break today.

Oh I love Orangina, we drank so much of that on honeymoon in Paris.

DH has to be very poorly to not straighten his hair.

JuJusDad · 22/06/2010 10:37

Shiney? Gravitas? Unlikely, methinks...

CrispyTheCrisp · 22/06/2010 10:41

Morning all. Busy day trying to sort loads of stuff so i am not here on MN . Have not caught up as i will get sucked in

Been for a 5.5k run and pilates last night. Bit of a disastrous food and drink weekend again so just trying to even it out

Have put a pic on FB of the alapacas in the field next to us just for Lizzy

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 10:45

Mouse - poor you. You have been under a lot of strain recently with poor ds though.

Wasting - straighten his hair? I have to remind DH to comb his (it is only short but sticks up where he has slept - pillow licked)

I like the red Orangina too

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:51

Alice, his hair sticks out, and goes ringlety when it's longer, so he runs the straighteners over.
He doesn't shave every day though. Or even every week.

wastingaway · 22/06/2010 10:56

Linda Mcartney sausages Shiney. Or fruit kebabs.
Our token veggie in the family is actually a pescetarian, so not so tricky.

Mouseface · 22/06/2010 10:56

Eh? What's going on with MN???

My preview message and post message boxes are purple......

They're usually not, just a white background.
