Hello hello. Back from hols, mostly brown with red spotty feet (mozzies). Will not try to catch up, no idea how many threads I have missed.

Anyone up for a round-up?

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2010 19:38

Alice are you and bump ok? Looks like I missed something.

I like bakewell tarts with icing and cherry. So sue me.

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 19:41

Hey Trills, welcome back

DEM are you going to get some kip too?

Kerry i think squat thrusts aren't helping my back but knees seem ok

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 19:42

Yes, what do Bakewell tarts have without icing (with the retro brown pattern) and a cherry?

Was it lovely Trills? Hope you are all relaxed and tanned and only put on 1/2 lb

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 19:44

Nope, suspect ds will have to be off school on friday as he should really be off tomo. Poor kid is struggling emotionally and a bit worried about his mental health atm. PLus have mainlined on coffee. So just going to spend a little bit longer being still and digesting tea, and cake then will go do more jobs.

WOuld love to help you with a round up trills but suffering from slug brains atm.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 19:44

I love bakewell tarts with icing and the cherry. I eat all aroun the pastry, then around the icing and eat the cherry bit last!

Trills - your back! Yay! . Was it nice? Did you have a good time?

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2010 19:47

Thanks Crispy - I had a tummy bug so didn't eat much for a couple of days, so I don't think I'll have fattened up too much. It left me with this strange desire to stop eating when I was a little bit full, instead of keeping eating because food is yummy. What's that all about?

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 19:48

Yep, never mind the round up trills. How was the holiday!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 19:50

Could you bottle the bug and bring it on the 12th?

Then i can sell it for £1million and pocket all the proceeds

bellavita · 26/05/2010 19:51

Oh no Trills, sounds horrendous.

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2010 19:52

Sun, pool, sun, beach, man who makes omlettes to order, sun, snorkelling, sun, quadbikes, sun, more pool, sun, barman who may or may not have been chatting me up (slightly uncomfortable actually), shisha, sun, spirits that all tasted like run whether you asked for gin or vodka or rum, sun, mosquito bites, sun, "bedouin" tea, sun, tummy bug, antibiptics given out at the drop of a hat, sun, more pool, beer, sun, flight back at stupid o'clock.

Not necessarily in that order.

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2010 19:55

It's almost funny Bella - after the initial horribleness I was left feeling a bit dizzy if I stood up for too long - BUT I was fine lying down. Guess where you could find me? Yep, sunbed with book - DP had to move them umbrella so I had shade or get me drinks.

You woulnd't want it though - you all have responsible lives to live, it's only bearable if you can lie down and be looked after, not if you have jobs or children to run after.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 19:56

Good holiday then Trills

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 19:56

Alice is that the ones that taste caramaccy?

Yum yum..

I had a Starburst sorbet lolly which are yummy in a fruity, only 100 calories way.

Alicetheinvisible · 26/05/2010 20:18

Mmm opal fruits........

I don't think they taste of caramac, they are that colour though but slightly shiney. Its amazing.

I am good trills, fattening up nicely

DreamsInBinary · 26/05/2010 20:24

Evening

I am being super good at the mo and so am feeling v virtuous.

Nice to see you back, Trill - hol sounds deeply relaxing.

DreamsInBinary · 26/05/2010 20:26

Alice - what books do you like? If we all send you one then you would have to stay still and read for the next three months...

Lizzylou · 26/05/2010 20:27

Trills! I get bitten badly as well, it's horrible.
Glad you had a good time though, it all sounds fab.

Stir fry was nice and DH came home with 1/2 an apple pie his Mom had made and I had not a bit!!!

Gawd I bloody wanted some. DH was v shocked.

Could this be the "Zone"

Alicetheinvisible · 26/05/2010 20:29

I generally like trash (jilly cooper ) Harry Potter, Jodie Picoult and mysteries (not horror)so if anyone is having a clearout of books i would be grateful of the loan of some. Reading Sarah Waters Night Watch atm (not sure about it yet though)

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 20:32

just might be lizzy

DreamsInBinary · 26/05/2010 20:32

Mmm, I have most of the Rupert Campbell Black series, Alice, if you're missing any.

They are hidden behind the modern classics on the bookshelf, next to Stephen King
