Yay for SAF, it is cheaper to cook as much from scratch as possible. Dull, but true

Defluff, hope you (and your ass) perks up, you're a funny un

Off to the gym, got my headband and leg warmers on...

Mouseface · 26/05/2010 14:21
UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 14:26

lizzy depends on what you make. dont think the iced marble cake and cooking coffee cake yet to be iced are cheaper will taste bloody nice though.

I need a packing list, i need to figure out what the hell i need to do before going away, and i need to stop forgetting my coffee. it has been reheated 4 times already

Mouseface · 26/05/2010 14:32

Off to physio now, yikes, will try catch up tomorrow.

Have a good afternoon/evening everyone.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/05/2010 14:37

Afternoon.

Definitely agree it is cheaper to cook from scratch. Last time we got a takeaway it cost about £15 - £20 I think? I could feed us all for about 3 or 4 days on that!

Leptons - very at your cakes. I think I am an OK cook, but I can't bake for toffee. Mind you, maybe that's a good thing

DF, hope you feel better soon.

Jet, if you are like me, you are going to ache tomorrow!

The first time I shredded, the next day was agony.

Lizzy - enjoy the gym, I am glad you are starting to notice the difference.

Good luck at physio mouse.

Hells - you finished 24 yet?

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 14:42

SAF try the first recipe on here if you have enough cals left. Bloody delicious with salmon

Mouse hope physio goes ok

Lizzy yay for tone shoulders and tummy and dedication on the gym front

Woo Woo for Wasting and Norma's 2lbs off

Big snuggle cuddle for Mitts now Lizzy has left the building

DEM sounds like a v productive day. I have done washing, cleaned the cooker and sorted all the gloves and hats and put them away

Walked 3 miles and shredded (7/30 - Level 1) and eaten well

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 14:45

LOL Bitter, i bought the DVD for a friend who did it yesterday and was going to shred daily. SHe text me this morning saying she couldn't move her arms and her ribs hurt

Anyone done Level 3?

i think i probably will bitter - but is it a satisfying ache? Oh, and who can do the proper push ups by the end? Thats my goal

Mittz · 26/05/2010 15:03

Had to go to town to change some stuff for Nate, and had a massive panic attack

I should have stayed at home with all the lovely Shiney Hugs.. will claim then now.

Have to pick DD up but will catch up in a bit. I hope you are all OK.

It was very good to get home. A drunk man sat too close to me on the bus and there wasn't anywhere else to sit and that just about finished me off. I am hopeless.

wastingaway · 26/05/2010 15:04

Hello!

Well done all you shredders, and well done Hells!

Hope your gutache clears soon Defluff!

Take it steady Mouseface.

Leptons, you really do get a lot done. Reducing the size of your to do list might be more motivational if it's getting you down despite the vast amount of stuff you get done.
Coffee really is important though, I agree.

We walked miles this morning, so I was sure DS would snooze in the buggy when we went to the supermarket just now, but no. He's awake and consuming hundreds of Babybels.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/05/2010 15:05

I've had the dvd for about 3 weeks and am still on level 1

I am spectacularly unfit though, so I am going to keep with it until level 1 seems a bit easier.

Why oh why is my house still a pit when i have spent all day cleaning?

And I'm going to have to have an argument with DS when I ask him to tidy his room, I just know it!

Speaking of which, I'd better go and pick him up. Catch up later.

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 15:15

Oh no, poor you Mitts . I hate my personal space being invaded. Glad you are home ok

JEt I still do the press ups on my knees although i can do a few proper full ones if really pushed

SAF, if you have those ingredients in they will last ages and you can make loads of scrummy stuff. If you look on that thead there is a recipe for hot and sour salmon which is dead easy and one of my favourites

Bitter, tis relentless isn't it?

Bella, have you had any more famous numpties on the phone today?

wastingaway · 26/05/2010 15:20

Oh Mitts. You needed that day off you were planning.

at famous drummers. There are a handful of drummers who people know the name of. I imagine the drummer from Status Quo isn't one of them.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 15:25

Crispy - not today (thank the lord!) . My morning has been busy enough without having to deal with another tosser.

Bitter, I am sick and tired of cleaning - it is all I ever do!

Aww Mitts - poor you. Get your feet up and think of nice things.

Lizzy, yes, enjoy the gym. I have just done some of the Davina dvd that Shiney sent me many moons ago. I don't think I did it particularly well and was tired even after the warm up.

ULQ - I don't like coffee cake, can you make something else please?

Someone mentioned tickling?

1 slice of toast for breakfast with some chopped up tropical fruit from M&S. 1 apple and 1 banana for my break, scrambled eggs for lunch and it will be lasagne for tea.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 15:34

Bitter - it is definetly a good thing. 500g icing sugar in the coffee butter icing on the coffee cake and 250g in the chocolate butter icing on the marble cake. PLus the marble cake has chocolate chips in it. It is definetly not diet friendly .

Right child picked up, and in a better mood today. Tink bribing with marble cake has helped Got to fly, have more jobs to do. Why do holidays seem to involve 6 times as much work then a normal week's work load. Prep week this week and its crazy.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 15:36

Bella there is marble cake also, if it is any better.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 15:40

Oooh yes, marble cake will be just lovely!

Funny thing, I love to drink coffee but I don't like coffee cake/sweets etc.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 15:45

DO you like your coffee black too, Bella?

Alicetheinvisible · 26/05/2010 15:51

Hello lovelies

I have just tried to catch up from last night but am all (that is now my most used face)

All i can remember is that you all seem to be talking healthy, with your shredding and cals left over and your weightloss etc. Well done!

Jet - is there anyway we can help with your meal planning at all? I'm sure between us we are a good source of inspiration!

I really have overdone things today. Not intentionally, just had lots on. Had friends pick DD up this morning and take her to playgroup, then i had to go to the MW and then wait ages for bloods to be taken sitting in a really uncomfortable hard chair which set things off. Friends came round after playgroup and brought cake with them which was lovely, then after lunch DD had ballet which DH drove us too and picked us up, but again it was 45mins sat in a hard chair which seems to really set things off. Luckily DD is happy to sit in front of the telly now though, although i had to leap up a minute ago to shut her out of the kitchen because she keeps getting into the butter dish so tired and sore!

Good thing today was that i have packed an overnight bag in case i have to go back into hospital at all (having it ready means it is less likely iyswim?)

bellavita · 26/05/2010 15:53

I drink my coffee white.

However when my parents come over or I go there, they put the coffee pot on and I will drink espresso.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 15:54

you norty girl!
