I assure you Bella, i ain't moving

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 16:42

bugger. Either I have given myself food poisioning from the raw cake mix, or my body hates me for the cheese toasty I ate at lunch As i believe food poisioning take 6-12hours from consumption, I fear i might have over done the dairy the last week or so. Am going to be so poorly tomo what ever happens.
At least I can eat the cakes without having to feel too guilty at diet breaking

bellavita · 26/05/2010 16:49

Filthy minds the lot of yer..

Lizzylou · 26/05/2010 17:04

Leptons, it is expensive as you are making cake a banned substance milady Though if it has icing...pass us some marble cake!

Alice, love, I am going to put you on complete bed rest if you don't stop overdoing it. I mean it. Please please, please just lie on the sofa or go to bed when DD isn't around. Everything else is incidental and can you try an get a MW to come out to you instead of you having sit and wait ffs.

Double, see, no need to have sexy weekends with glinty eyed footballers, stick with us

Mittz, oh love, are you OK now?

Crispy I have never tried Level 3, did Level 1 yesterday and it was fine, need to et back on Level 2.

Jet I can't do proper push ups, I don't think my wrists would take the weight!

Bitter, just stick with it, you may find Level 2 a bit easier to be honest.

OK, so have done Summit Climber and rowing and then 10mns Fat Wobbler in the gym, was good. Got beef and veg stirfry for dinner.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 17:07

At least the potatoe grantan is low cholesterol. beauty of being dairy free. Dairy free (oat cream) is low in cholesterol. thus it is healthier. Runner beans for veg, will keep ds happy. Tis a week of norty food. just need to keep portion sizes in check!

Lizzylou · 26/05/2010 17:10

Middle and top?

Ooh, have never heard of oat cream, is it nice? Where do you get it from? LOVE Potato gratin.

bellavita · 26/05/2010 17:17

Oat cream... tell me more!

Been to the PYO, DH forgot to put the girls tea on . I now have tired, hungry toddlers

Well done on the baking DEM, although a bugger you can't actuall enjoy it without errrm consequences

LOL at Bella doing strapping, must be those extra lunch hour sessions with the headmaster

My friend had her DD1 today at 41+4. Very pleased for her especially as feeding off to a flier

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/05/2010 17:36

Just a quickie, while I wait for the paella to cook.

Crispy, congratulations on your friends DD.

Lizzy, I may well try level 2, I'm just a scaredy wimp, unlike you, always exercising.

Mittz, I hope you are OK, sounds like you've had a bit of a day of it.

Alice, - BED!

And now I have cooked, so the one room that looked like I had touched it is a bombsite again - This paella had bloody well better be worth it!

bellavita · 26/05/2010 17:36

Crispy, if only he were my type!! .. now one of the DT technicians >....

How lovely for your friend

It is bad enough with two hungry older boys when they need to have something now never mind with two little toddlers on your behalf.

YanknCock · 26/05/2010 17:43

afternoon/evening everyone... I did sleep eventually sometime after 3am, then up with DS for a bit at 7, then slept again.

Boss has been on phone saying how 'concerned' everyone is that I will be able to do this month long training thing in Wigan, got grilled again on 'are you ready, do you have any doubts'. Fuck's sake if I knew when I was going to catch the worst bug I've had in years, you'd be the first to know you fucking arse clown. I really need a new job.

I think these antibiotics are starting to work. I have annual leave next two days. My friend is coming up tomorrow from London, and on Friday I am driving her to her writing conference near Buxton. DH is going to take day off so we will make a day of it with DS. Then shopping on Saturday with Jet, relaxing on Sunday, and picking friend up from Buxton area on Monday.

Mittz · 26/05/2010 17:44

Oh a lovely squishy baby Crispy . will you get to see her?

I had a lot of BH with DS Alice but don't think it really is the same for different pregnancies so agree you should have a hotline to the MW...

I am OK I think thanks. I felt 'wrong' after last night and thought the trip might distract me. It was busy and everything was taking longer than I planned and suddenly it hit me. I fell apart in Sports Direct, which is great for Kids stuff but you have to be in the right mood for the shop in Derby at the best of times. I have never had a good experience in there, but as I say it is good for DS's stuff. I actually huffed at someone. The whole demeanor was 'bored, can't be bothered and too much trouble to serve' and it was so hot.

I curled up on my sofa like a grumpy tired toddler when I got back .

Are you OK Quarks?

My DC's eat butter/marg etc Alice... but don'y worry they are not too strange reassuringly normal. DS used to eat boiled Eggs with the shells on like apples. It used to make me heave.

Yank How are you today .Your DS is just sooooo edible xx

I have just cracked press ups and can do 20 on a good day (with our goddess instructress bellowing at us). But don't go ever so deep to the floor yet. I would love to do chin ups..

God I love Tomato bread......... yum yum..

Lizzylou · 26/05/2010 17:45

Bitter/Saf, I honestly was so unfit pre-dc, never went near a gym, never ran (perish the thought) it was only after DS2 that I fancied taking up running and joined a gym. I walked loads after having DS1 as well. I did used to swim a bit, once a week pre-dc and a fair bit when pg with DS2.
I am still not a sporty type but enjoy it far more now. Once you start seeing the results it is worth it and spurs you on.
I am certainly not an athlete like Crispy, she runs fast!

I remember the days when I used to do a Cindy Crawford exercise video a couple of times a week and lose over a stone in a month. The beauty of being young and pre-dc.

Crispy, grrr at hungry kids, blokes don't get that they turn banshee like when they are hungry, do they?

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 17:56

Oat cream is made by oatly who also do oat milk. Have found it works as a better then soya substitute in cooking. Especially as it also then meets the non soya diet requirements of my mother. It can be a real pain to get hold of so when i see it i grab a couple of packets. Its long life so it lasts, which is another benefit.

Crispy - the cakes are milk free can enjoy it without consequences. It was the triple cheese pizza and the cheese toasties of last week that did the damage. One thing I hate about dairy free. I miss cheese Oh well. Will be healthier without it.

Lizzylou · 26/05/2010 17:58

I take so long to post, I missed you Mittz and Yank.

Yank, your work are crap, it's not like you are sunbathing reading Heat in the garden, is it? I hope that the ABs work and that you have a lovely few days with your friend and Jet ().

Mittz, I hate Sports Direct, can I warn you against the one in Burnley? Bloody horrendous, most of Burnley is to be honest (apologies to any native Burnley people but I think you may agree about the centre). Hot and full of rude and horrible people, can't find anything...ugh.
You OK, now?

Alicetheinvisible · 26/05/2010 17:59

Mitts - DD did that the other week, i was retching

Yank - glad you are perking up a bit, job is rubbish, you are better than that.

MW visit actually was ok, it was just the blood people (can't spell the name!) taking forever. Apart from the BH/cx everything is ok, BP is low (always is) bump is actually measuring a week behind, despite measuring 3 weeks over last week the only explanation is an irritable uterus. Not going again til the 7th july (if i need to be seen it will be hospital job) but have a feeling i will need more bloods taken again in a few weeks due to low iron.

Dinner is jacket pots/freezer surprise tonight. Need to empty the freezer so i can restock it, but it is mostly full of ice cream atm......

Thanks guys, i subcontracted childcare to cbeebies . I suspect this is easier than dealing with rampaging hungry pre-teens Bella

Yank, tossers . Hope your few days off helps aid recovery

Mitts i hate Sports Direct with a passion but it is SO cheap that needs must sometimes. Can you get some time for a quiet bath for yourself tonight? 20 full press ups is fab BTW, is that all in one go?

Not sure when i will get to see the baby as i am aware they need some space for themselves as a new family. As we are 100 miles away just 'popping in' is quite tricky. I may try and go to see my parents next week too and then will be easier to drop in

Lizzy LOL at 'athlete' . I was never a runner before last Oct but have got kind of hooked

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 26/05/2010 18:03

Yank - buxton is fab. Need to go there before disappearing on mission and holiday. Lovely, lovely place. The baths have a lovely play park and a general walk around look at plants park. Its near the opera house. Plus if you get bored Bakewell is about 15/20mins down the road and the river is worth a visit to see the trout. fish and chips there is to die for! Enjoy your day.

Me, i'd be better if the sodding tea would hurry up and be cooked. I'm hungry, ds is up to mischief cos he is hungry. I have just confiscated his lego for a month because he cant look after it well enough to be deemed old enough to play with it. Which should give me enough time to full sort and deal with it.
Fairly boyant though will need to use my birthday hot buddy thing later for cramp. Love this milk allergy/intollerance thing All i can say is thank goodness for antihistamine tablets else i'd be in major trouble

Alicetheinvisible · 26/05/2010 18:10

Double - how do you make your lasagne?
