Morning all,

Yank how are you & DS feeling this morning? Did you have a good night with him?

Tea anyone?

MyCat definately only a few points a day as think that'll work better then starving yourself on 16 a day as that's alot to drop every day

Yes it's all done properly, you have to register for it in advance so you can't just turn up on the day. You gather sponsors & pay to sign up etc

Morning all
Was up quite a bit in the night to see to itchy D2, but we will snuggle today once DS1 has been despatched to school.

Wasting, poor you, hope you feel better, deffo go to the GP's.

DEM, aw take the compliments!

Yank, hope you get car stuff sorted and that you and DS are OK.

Bella, that recipe sounds wonderful.

Norma, well done, are you still wearing your tutu?

SAF, glad you hd a nice time, was your Mom pleased with her present?

Right off to get us ready, will have to chuck DS1 out at school so DS2 doesn't infect everyone else

Yes lots of spectators, over 2000 women took part yesterday. It's a very emotional day & an amazing atmosphere, you can walk, jog or run & over half the people who take part walk it. We jogged/power walked & had aimed for 45 minutes so were pleased to do it in 50, an amazing cause to do it for

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/05/2010 07:57

Oh pleeeease tell me why DD has kicked and scratched and cried all night and now I have to get up and am zombified, she is sleeping peacefully?

It is truly gorgeous though ,

I hope you are well, but thinking of the ones that are illing or stressed,

xx

NormaSknockers · 17/05/2010 07:57

Ugh - why does my daughter wake at 5am and then scream like a banshee until she's entertained??

Well done Norma - three miles is fab and for such a good cause

Yank - go dye your hair

Mitts/LL - any chance of sending some virus in the post? DS had cp at 13 months and was fine, although covered head to toe in spots, and I want DD to catch it young!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/05/2010 08:47

That was my thought DiB, when I let her have contact with the 'infected'. I will be glad in the long run but at the moment am thinking 'why the hell did I do that?'

see the bigger picture Mitts...

Alicetheinvisible · 17/05/2010 08:47

Good morning

Norma - well done you!!! Very proud

Yank and Wasting - poor you and Dss' (hot ribena and brandy all round - or Lemsip max)

Lizzy and Mitts - poor poxy children each day is a day closer to it being cleared up (seriously, look up Lanacane talc)

Fanny - he is a twat and will get his comeuppance. You are just too lovely.

Trills - fingers crossed for your flight!

Well, DH got home late saturday night from Paris. Brought DD some chocolate back and me som L'occitane hand cream and foot cream (which he has to rub in for me )

We went down to Kent yesterday to see friends and it was lovely and even got a boit of sunshine! The trip home was a bit rubbish though as i started getting some very strong Braxton Hicks whilst still on the M2, and by the time we got on the M11 i was in agony. Persuaded DH to stop at some services so i could have a walk around which helped a bit (as did the big bar of Galaxay caramel) and was ok pretty much by the time i went to bed, but it was a bit of a toss up whether we went home or to Addenbrooks maternity unit! I had felt that the baby had been lying transverse for a couple of days so i think it was just moving as it now feels much more comfortable.

Anyway, house is a tip, so really ought to try to get that under control. Have got about a weeks worth of folding/sorting and ironing of washing to do - fun!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/05/2010 08:48

Shouldn't be to bad Saf, it's the evenings that are understaffed.

DS is a lark as well DIB, it gets better when they are old enough to make their own breakfast
