Not everyone Jet not but well over half. It was like a sea of pink, over 2000 women took park! Lots of tuts, boppers, cowboy hats, feather boas etc, the atmosphere was amazing & it was rather emotional by the end.

Lizzy enjoy the film....or at least try not to snore too loudly

NormaSknockers · 16/05/2010 20:49

I'm off to bed girls, night all!

MyCatIsABastard · 16/05/2010 20:55

Cheers Norma. If your on the same points as me then we can do it together, as it were! I'm going to record what I eat for hte next few days everyone, hope i don't bore you.

Will stick to 20pts til next Friday then.

Just watched Dr WHo on catch up, I'm really starting to like the new guy, Matt Smith is it? He's really doing well now. Still have major crush on David Tennant though!

YanknCock · 16/05/2010 21:34

Fanny, what a git BIL is.

MyCat, good luck getting back on track with the diet.

TC, I was trying so save annual leave so we could go to Us for xmas, but we probably can't afford it anyway so I think I will have to use it when DS is sick just to show I am trying.

Norma, well done!!

Mitts/Lizzy hope your DCs get over their pox soon!

bella, glad you had a nice lunch

shiney, a pritt stick?

Vinny, hooray for discovering your hidden talent!

bellavita · 16/05/2010 21:49

Bitter, the pork is slow roasted (apart from the first half an hour) and after an hour and a half you take it out of the oven, drain the fat off and then stick in the tin - chicory, cider, dijon mustard, garlic, thyme and brown sugar and then roast for another two hours.

Yank, it's hard isn't it - do you think he may be a bit brighter tomorrow, enough to o to nursery? I am sorry your ear still hurts.

Vinny, oooh get you being a dart player

I have escaped to bed, I was falling asleep downstairs. Mum is in bed too. I have only had two drinks today - a bucks fizz this morning and one glass of wine at lunch. I had a low cal ginger ale earlier on.

Oh Fanny - your BIL , I am so sorry he is such an arse

MyCat - you can do it!

Hells, your pampering sounds fabulous

Norma, I did like your tutu

YanknCock · 16/05/2010 22:00

bella, i hope so. Will drug him with ibuprofen if he wakes up feverish again and take him in and hope for the best.

Doesn't help that tomorrow the car is going in to have a service and the gearbox looked at, it will be there for 3 days. I can't drive the hire car because of the points on my licence, and DH is a nervous enough driver without having an unfamiliar car with a manual transmission (he's used to our automatic now).

We went out and bought a sat nav today in effort to help with his general navigation problems. It caused arguments and I was probably quite rude to him .

I predict lots of stalling and swearing tomorrow. You all might want to avoid Warrington and vicinty tomorrow (if you don't already avoid it for other reasons!).

bellavita · 16/05/2010 22:13

Have you got a price from the garage yet for them looking at the car etc etc? Hope it isn't too costly for you.

We bought our sat nav last August, the day before we drove down to Gatwick. It was the best thing we have ever purchased!

I think it is much easier going from a manual car to an automatic than the other way round.

Are your points for speeding?

DidEinsteinsMum · 16/05/2010 22:13

@ avoiding warrington.

MN has been crashing badly for me and i have been forced to do things like ironing, and cleaning and folding. I now have 3 weeks of washing ironed, folded and sat in the lounge waiting to be put away.

Does anyone know some magic words that will get tech to fix it? who was it would held the bribery material? Vinny, was it you?

Ds thinks i am a great mummy we have been getting on better. despite him having a week bike ban for deciding to ride it on the road

If mn carrys on like this the house might start to resemble a museum rather then its normal chaotic state

DidEinsteinsMum · 16/05/2010 22:38

Right going to put the washing away. the drawers will be in shock, dont think the clean clothes have actually ended up there for a while

hope you are all relaxing and sleeping peacefully. i give up.

YanknCock · 16/05/2010 22:51

yes, 9 points for speeding, and if I speed again in next 9.5 months I could have a 6 month ban. Am trying very hard now to cure my lead foot, keeping my limiter on almost all the time!

Thankfully we did this thing with the dealer where they take out money every month to pay for your servicing, so all taken care of. The gearbox they have to sort because it was new 6 months ago and there is a guarantee on the work. Only thing we should need to pay is insurance for courtesy car at about £10/day.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 22:53

Hello!

Saf - glad you had a nice time - did your mum love her pressie?

Bella - I am drooling - I love a bit of pork! May have to nick that recipe

Yank, I've said it before, but I am sure you are due a lottery win, with all the bad luck you have had recently.

I made a documentary in Warrington once. The people we were interviewing were utter fruitcakes, but I'm sure that doesn't apply to the whole of Warrington

MyCat - nice to have you back.

DEM - I am sure you are a fab mum - at least you don't have to lock away the sugar!

I am all 24'd out, and I am still an episode behind!

DidEinsteinsMum · 16/05/2010 22:55

That would be because we have to lock him out of the kitchen. sugar is the least of our worries

wastingaway · 16/05/2010 23:05

Evening.

DEM, well done on your ironing and folding. That's lovely what DS said.

Well done Norma!

Fanny, he's a proper knob.

Mitts, Lizzy, hope the spotty ones are feeling better.

Yank, hope you and the little fella catch a break soon.

We had a good afternoon out for lunch and then hanging at PILs (as per usual).

Me and DS are streaming with snot, and I think it's a viral infection on top of what I think is a bacterial infection giving me laryngitis. And now I'm coughing away.
I promise I'm going to the doctors tomorrow.

YanknCock · 16/05/2010 23:05

Bitter, DH and I feel quite at home where there are lots of fruitcakes

Christ have just seen a mirror, someone please remind me to colour my hair this week. I've just spotted at least 5 new grey ones coming in right in the front!

DEM, you ARE a great mummy.

YanknCock · 16/05/2010 23:07

xposted wasting, I reckon your snot grot is the same crap DS and I have too....been going on ages! Fingers crossed we all get over it soon.

wastingaway · 16/05/2010 23:10

Fingers and toes crossed!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 23:10

Yank, while I remember - Colour your hair this week!

Oh, and these were conspiricy theory / alien / ghost hunting fruitcakes

I'm sure you are not that extreme!

Wasting, sorry that you are illing again. Sending you virtual lemsip.

I'm never ill like this and I feel very sorry for myself.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 23:28

Night all.

wastingaway · 16/05/2010 23:31
