Nope. Not me. You'll tell if I do anything cos it'll be small and cheap and 'quirky/jokey' to make up for the small cheapness.

Trills, any pressie cheap or not would mean the world to me - it is the thought that counts and that someone has chosen something.

TrillianAstra · 15/05/2010 13:02

There were a lot of products in the video - I only use that much for a real event, not everyday, but she looked quite different before/after. I think Hells or Tracey first linked it, there had been a thread where people claimed that makeup didn't make you look any better (or even that people 'caked in makeup' looked awful and unnatural). Well, it does, if you do it right. Even if you're Angelina Jolie or something.

Lizzylou · 15/05/2010 13:04

Kept you guessing long enough, Bella.
They were from me, because you always arrange things for other people and you had a bit of a bad week and you are very lovely.
I am really pleased that you like them and yuo are very welcome

Trills - i know i will have to bite the bullet and talk to hairdresser I hate it, as i hate sitting in front of the mirror But, at least i have some idea of what to go for, so will try

havent actually started study yet as done shopping and treadmill, so may make a start soon. Then again, i may just get up early tomorrow and do it then

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/05/2010 13:22

Just popping in to say hello, I am off to play lego with DS.

Alicetheinvisible · 15/05/2010 13:24

Lizzy - no wonder you were named as one of the nicest mnetters But you are right, Bella does deserve it.

Trills - thanks for that link. I have been umming and aahing about tinted moisturiser, but need one for fairly 'english' skin/colouring that is not too expensive. Maybe you could come shopping with me once you have got back off holiday?

SAF - i really like Benetint, and i am thinking of getting the pinker Posietint too. I agree wrt the video, the woman looks great, but i couldn't pull that off as a daytime look.

I am being a good girl and drinking water with slices of orange and ice in - it is yummy.

bellavita · 15/05/2010 13:24

Oooh lego, we have tons and tons of the stuff... gets absolutely everywhere! But DS2 nearly 11 still plays with it!

TrillianAstra · 15/05/2010 13:41

Well done on drinking water Alice! Sadly I don't think I'll be able to take much time out for a shopping trip, work is really busy and by the time I get back from holiday I'll have barely been there in May at all. There are Benefit girls in Debenhams and in John Lewis. I've got the You Rebel tinted moisturiser (which Shiney made me buy - it smells nice) and they do a paler version of it too. Is the Benetint good?

Alicetheinvisible · 15/05/2010 13:42

SAF - Benefit have beauty lessons here

Now that I have made a motorbike and a car to DS' exacting standards, I have been made redundant.

He's currently 'being a fireman' cutting a car open that has been in a crash.

All this hair talk is making me think I should go for the chop. I quite fancy a really sharp chicago-esque bob with a fringe.

Alicetheinvisible · 15/05/2010 13:44

Yes, i like the Benetint. I got it in the PocketPal (one end Benetint, one end clear lip gloss) and it goes a long way (well, when you don't wear it everyday)

Is You Rebel quite moisturising?
