Kerry, I work in an Estate Agents just on a Saturday, just waiting until my own business starts paying so I can quit.
I am giving up in September whatever happens to be honest.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/05/2010 10:25

Morning!

Well done on the loss Vinny at notk weighing!

Saf - another non breakfast person here, well done for eating!

Mitts - Bicarb or oats in the bath. Hope it clears up soon

Lizzy Very at singstar - I used to love a bit of karaoke'

Well, I've just had a nice surprise.
Long story short, just over a year ago our next door neighbour was made redundant and lost his company car.

We offered him our car and told him to pay for it whenever he could.

I had completely forgotten until he turned up this morning with a bundle of cash and a big thankyou for being so patient

We might be able to go on holiday this year now!

Oh and saf, huskies are more mental than BC's - That would be the worst possible combination for a pup - huskies can get nasty .

YanknCock · 15/05/2010 10:30

Yay Vinny! Very pleased for you. Have a nice day out walking. Agree with TC, bring rain gear, it looks nasty out.

wasting, hope the ants are kept at bay now.

Alice, I am the same, I don't look as fat as I actually am in my full length taffeta wedding dress--perhaps we can start a new trend and wear them every day?

SAF, well done on having breakfast, it can do wonderful things.

Mitts, hope the bath helps your DD.

Fanny, what's the job?

Lizzy, sorry work is being shite, but yay for a night in and wine tonight!

bella, hope you have a great day

DS woke up with a fever and snotty nose again, and I feel crap and still can't hear, so we are not going down to London for the wedding reception Actually i'm not really sad for myself, but sad because DH was looking forward to it. He said he's a bit relieved as he's had a hard week and has another one ahead.

We will just relax together today and reminisce about our booze-fuelled first night together exactly 3 years ago

Lizzylou · 15/05/2010 10:31

No Saf, completely the opposite in fact, they want me to do more hours and the MD asked me to join them full time. Colleague today said we can't have you upset, we need you.

Sorry about your holiday saf - yes it was a nice surprise. Not often I get people knock at my door offering me money

hellsbelles · 15/05/2010 10:33

oh lizzy - I think they are doing a massive pisstake...you are doing a managerial role really aren't you if you are always having to sort out their mess.

Bitter - how lovely...Karma has found its way back to you.

Poor mini mitts.

Lizzylou · 15/05/2010 10:33

at Yank and Alice rocking the everyday wedding dress look.
Happy Anniversary

Boss (on day off) has just rang up to apologise for other members of staff who ballsed up.

Think I'll make another coffee now and talk to the turtle.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/05/2010 10:34

Lizzy, work sounds rubbish.

My parents have just phoned and offered to take the DC out for an hour

I think I'd better buy a lotto ticket tonight, It's obviously my lucky day!

Saf - I would so be up for some fictional wedding shopping

I'd better jump in the shower.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/05/2010 10:42

Yank - not ver exciting, casual work at the county library inputting stock on to their system, chasing up orders, delaing with enquiries. Have also applied to Waterstones which is less money but definite hours per week.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 15/05/2010 10:45

No Kerry.. why? What are you thinking? She is due to be allergy tested but can't take her to the docs like this.

I have been giving her piriton on advice form the chemist.

Bitter, that is really wonderful, nice when a good deed is rewarded.

Fanny, I was a Saturday assistant at a library when I first got to the UK, really enjoyed it. Nice to be around lots of books!

DI, you can always come moan to us re your dad's visit.

SAF, wedding dress no 2 was off the rack from Debenhams, you can always go there to try on swishy taffeta dresses!

DS's fever had gone down with calpol, but it's not even been four hours and it already back up to 38.5 under his arm. Really don't want to go to out of hours GP again, it feels like we live there

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/05/2010 11:00

That is what I am looking forward to

Sorry that DS is illing again.

Thanks Kerry.. I might ring someone just to be on the safe side. She keeps getting 'chest pains' so alarm bells were ringing. She is not usually prone to over fussing.

Will be back later..

Oh and how fab Bitter, what a lovely thing to do and to get paid back.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/05/2010 11:05

Bitter that is so nice. Have fun with the money.

YanknCock · 15/05/2010 11:06

Kerry, it is the 3rd anniversary of the night I plied DH2 with booze and dragged him back to mine.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/05/2010 11:08

Enjoy your anniversary Yank.

Right off to meet up with my nephews, step nephew and SIL with DD and go play Robing Hood in the woods.
