Hi, I'm Bella

I am 5ft nothing and need to lose a few pounds to get back to my normal weight of around 8st 3lb.

OP posts:
AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/05/2010 21:08

I think one of the best things to have calorie wise at McD's is a 6 chicken nugget meal with medium fries and diet coke. But ~I canni resist the chicken selects thing with sweet chilli sauce.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/05/2010 21:10

Could be worse Vin, a few years back I was so desperate for booze I broke out the little mini bottle of ouzo that my parents had brought back from Greece for me.
It was awful but I needed it!

TotalChaos · 06/05/2010 21:10

ABF - I am utterly tedious, I count fat grams as well as calories. Think it must say something that I talk far more about McD's food than about mascara .

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/05/2010 21:14

Best thing to eat at macs calorie wise used to be the chicken salad deli roll thing.

Do they still do that?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/05/2010 21:26

TBH I think the best thing would be to not eat McDonalds at all.

But I never can resist a man named Ronald. (DH middle name but shush dont tell anyone, it's the big secret )

I never watch CSI, am mocking some BNP birds on a thread, bed soon.

Have been v good today, but will that make up for the bad days??

Who knows???

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/05/2010 21:34

SAF, maybe you ought to rethink the no alcohol thing today

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/05/2010 21:54

Where is everyone?

Are you all doing grown up political things?

Lizzy, you sound tiny, I wouldn't worry too much

Saf, I used to love caramac as a kid

I am going to try to nail you down for a coffee in the next couple of weeks, if you fancy it?

DreamsInBinary · 06/05/2010 21:57

Why does no-one else live in south wales for a MiniMeetUp???

Am watching the C4 election coverage and getting drunk trying to make it to midnight. Had 1.5 hours sleep last night (thank you DD) so who knows...

YanknCock · 06/05/2010 22:01

wasting, how's your throat? Mine is so sore I can't speak. Ibuprofen takes the edge off it, but so painful to even swallow. I had the same problem with DS yesterday...I was awake and needed to feed him, and he stayed asleep!

VT, definitely not on, your colleague discussing the bollocking before it happened with the whole team! Loving Finn's antics though, he sounds so funny--and I will regret finding it amusing when Leo is doing all this I'm sure!

Mitts, I think Syc left shortly after I joined the thread, but I've had that 'you are not a dustbin' phrase rolling around in my head a lot for the last few months--must be something I read on here and found helpful.

Iggi, glad your telly is sorted.

MyCat, are you and your DH on speaking terms tonight? How's the leak? Rotten luck with the cars, how annoying.

Hope to see you back soon, BOF.

Jet, am smiling imagining your little puddle-jumper with her bowl haircut.

Welcome Kermit!

Goober, nice to see you.

Hope you sleep well, DEM

Bitter, how does your DP feel about going into politics?

TC, work tension is horrible, hope it blows over soon. I've just learned more today about all the tattling and backstabbing going on in my office, think it is seriously time to jump ship if I can!

ABF, now I'm imagining the tennis racket incident and trying not to laugh. Poor kid!

SaF, curry sounds lovely.

I got a ride in with neighbour so was in at 8:25, left at 16:25 and didn't get home until nearly 7pm because the stupid train got cancelled and I ended up waiting around for ages. The bus wasn't coming for 20 minutes after I arrived at home station, so I phoned for a cab to be there when I arrived.

DH stayed home again with DS today. The infection seems better, but still getting goop in his eyes and his cough sounds painful. They might stay home again tomorrow.

We went and voted around 8pm, my first general election. Quite an anti-climax. Now watching Channel 4 Alternative Election Night and will probably fall asleep early-ish.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/05/2010 22:13

Hey yank, glad Grotboy is less grotty.

DIB, my sister lives in Cardiff, is that anywhere near you?

Next time I'm that way we could meet up

Besides, I think saf is a bit scared of me, we haven't agreed to meet yet.

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/05/2010 22:15

LOL that SAF should consider alcohol . Hope you, wasting and Yank are feeling better soon. Gargle TCP ladies...

DIB, i am going to come over to Newport to the Jojo's outlet shop soon if you fancy meeting? Prob a tues though as childfree which may not work for you?

Agree with ABF on MaccieD's. Always eagerly anticipated but always shit. IMVHO

Waiting for the swingometer and LOL'ing at the schoolboys being used for free labour. No min wage i'll be betting.....

DreamsInBinary · 06/05/2010 22:16

I am in Cardiff, Bitter! It's a date

DreamsInBinary · 06/05/2010 22:18

I went to the JoJo outlet every week whilst on maternty leave, Sazz.

I work on Tuesdays (boo!) but DD may be in line for chicken pox soon...

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/05/2010 22:19

Usurped

DreamsInBinary · 06/05/2010 22:23

Good lord, Sazz, I'm jigging

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/05/2010 22:24

Possibly a Weds or Fri am but would have to shoot off sharpish

hellsbelles · 06/05/2010 22:29

wasting which one is Hodges? Is the one that always wants to be important but isn't? Actually he is weirdly cute (apart from the hairline).

I still can't get over McNulty (sp?) and am very shocked to hear that Sam Cam knocked him back for shiney dave!!

Bitter - you'll appreciate this...DH is going to the Dentist on monday (clue - it's in soho) and guess who has the appointment after him?? go on guess...

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/05/2010 22:33

Ooh, DIB, my sister lives next door to a Mner, though she is yet to come on here.

Do you live next door to an evangelical Christian with a 4yo DD and nearly 2yo DS by any chance?

She lives in Heath

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/05/2010 22:36

Hells, g'wan tell me.

Is it Derren?

Or some politician?

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/05/2010 22:39

DIB, watch that pelvic floor with all that jigging

Can't believe loads of people have been turned away from polling stations, unable to vote . Luckily i live near a town full of octagenarians who had already hoovered, had a bath and 2 cups of tea before voting at 7am

wastingaway · 06/05/2010 22:43

Hells, yeah, that's him.

Yank, I've been cycling through Lemsip, Strepsils, Lockets and Ibuprofen. I've got some cough medicine too as the coughing is killing my throat.
