wasting, how's your throat? Mine is so sore I can't speak. Ibuprofen takes the edge off it, but so painful to even swallow. I had the same problem with DS yesterday...I was awake and needed to feed him, and he stayed asleep!
VT, definitely not on, your colleague discussing the bollocking before it happened with the whole team! Loving Finn's antics though, he sounds so funny--and I will regret finding it amusing when Leo is doing all this I'm sure!
Mitts, I think Syc left shortly after I joined the thread, but I've had that 'you are not a dustbin' phrase rolling around in my head a lot for the last few months--must be something I read on here and found helpful.
Iggi, glad your telly is sorted.
MyCat, are you and your DH on speaking terms tonight? How's the leak? Rotten luck with the cars, how annoying.
Hope to see you back soon, BOF.
Jet, am smiling imagining your little puddle-jumper with her bowl haircut.
Welcome Kermit!
Goober, nice to see you.
Hope you sleep well, DEM
Bitter, how does your DP feel about going into politics?
TC, work tension is horrible, hope it blows over soon. I've just learned more today about all the tattling and backstabbing going on in my office, think it is seriously time to jump ship if I can!
ABF, now I'm imagining the tennis racket incident and trying not to laugh. Poor kid!
SaF, curry sounds lovely.
I got a ride in with neighbour so was in at 8:25, left at 16:25 and didn't get home until nearly 7pm because the stupid train got cancelled and I ended up waiting around for ages. The bus wasn't coming for 20 minutes after I arrived at home station, so I phoned for a cab to be there when I arrived.
DH stayed home again with DS today. The infection seems better, but still getting goop in his eyes and his cough sounds painful. They might stay home again tomorrow.
We went and voted around 8pm, my first general election. Quite an anti-climax. Now watching Channel 4 Alternative Election Night and will probably fall asleep early-ish.
