tired = not sleeping well atm
satisfied and smug = got tons done today - shifted a lot of course paperwork to recycling, helped someone out who needed it. Swapping coffee for a needed babysitter. A lovely lady, a difficult situation, and a deserved night out for her.

Jet - absolutely no intention of staying up. planning an early night if i dont get sucked into mn/internet again

I have found the warentee for my tv, i can now get it fixed/replaced as it is still in date. which is going to be lovely. Amazing what you find whe you are looking for something else.

just caught him stood next to the oven, with the oven mitt on - 'just going to check if my tea is done'

Vinny - dont discourge train. Ds was the same and now i get woken by breakfast in bed. its taken 2 years and there are a bit with what is brought but it is a nice way to be woken up by a 5yo.

I used to make sure that there was a plastic cup on the bench and a drink mixed in a small jug so that he could feel grown up with less chance of mess and breakage.

Taught ds how to cook sauages tonight.

oh im all for training him, he gets his own water from the fridge etc, but hes a little bit too young to be going near a hot oven just yet

he has started climbing into the bath before its finished running and before i have tested how hot it is, my heart cant take it

run in uber cold so that he does it once and gets a cold shock, it will teach him kindly that you wait till mummy says. Agree with the oven but have had to have ds trained with kettle for his own safety. compromise on him putting on the microwave, things into the cold overn, mummy does the taking out bit. gives feeling of being grown up with out the risk. You can explain risk and why if ds will understand and grasp. a pointless exercise with ds but novalty wearing off was my best friend.

I have almost non existent eyelashes (seriously, even a professional make up artist told me that once)so need all the help I can get.
