Hi, I'm Bella

I am 5ft nothing and need to lose a few pounds to get back to my normal weight of around 8st 3lb.

OP posts:
bellavita · 05/05/2010 16:11

Total, it is definitely not your fault. Colleague A should have made the manager aware before anyone else when they were going to return to work.

Cottage pie sounds good DEM as does your baked ham Crispy.

We are having a 4 point ww meal - chicken wrapped in proscuito (sp) with basil leaves, roast squash, shallots and vine tomatoes. We won't be having this until about 6.15.

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/05/2010 16:12

Sorry, but i did just LOL at your pun Bitter

Doing anything nice this weekend DEM?

wastingaway · 05/05/2010 16:14

Oh God, save me from two year old.

Crispy, so sorry for your friend, must be horrible.

Lizzy, you get 'em the fuckers.

Total, I can't see that's your fault, really. If it's a secret you should be told.

Oh yeah, I thought it was quiet Bitter!

Yoohoo! Vinny!

MY throat is really bad and DS is mostly being lovely actually, but his nappy leaked 15 fucking minutes after I'd changed it, as he's sitting on me of course.
I should have got the new larger nappy covers washed yesterday but I feel like shit and he's getting really angry about everything now. I'd love to go out for a walk DS, but it hurts my throat to breath at any sort of pace.

I imagine that everything smells of piss round here and I wouldn't notice.
Oh, and we've got ants in the dining room.

Thank you for listening.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 05/05/2010 16:15

Tc, must have x posted - not your fault unless you are usually psychic and happened to accidentally leave your crystal ball in your other coat this morning.

Will post the recipe if it's any good.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 05/05/2010 16:16

Afternoon ladies.

Ive been crap today and all ive had is one bowl of corn flakes for breakfast and then one bowl of weetabix for lunch. My kitchen cupboards are like old mother hubbards. Need to drag my arse out and do some shopping but cant be bothered plus I have such a bad headache.

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 16:17

nope, crispy just getting old . on a plus note ds free weekend.

right must discover what the psycho child is upto this time...

bellavita · 05/05/2010 16:19

ABF - cereal is better than biscuits and chocolate! So give yourself a pat on the back

Get yourself a cuppa and some paracetamol and then maybe do an online shop? Mine is coming tomorrow.

ABF...headaches can be a sign of diet change and low blood sugar and maybe not eating quite enough. Look at low GI foods that sustain you for longer..will link a list later

Also drink lots of water.

Thank you. Ive been trying to drink lots of water. This probably sounds stupid but I think it's the weather. It's very overcast here s im wondering if there's a storm-a-brewing!

Bitter at rubbish post! IYSWIM
We are having Polenta as well, sliced and baked in fry light with a Roasted red pepper and aubergine tomatoey concoction on top. It's one of my favourite meals.

SAF, am so not a dog person, but I do like border collies (like on one man and his dog, rght?). Polenta is an Italian cornmeal thing, I buy a prepacked one (from Tescos, Bitter will tell you where it is!) and slice and bake, it is pretty low on calories.

Wasting, oh, poor you, hope your day gets better and that your mini-rat there has helped (it often helps me to just offload on here, sorry!).

Amazing, it is very storm like here as well, was yesterday afternoon, makes my headache.

Total, completely not your fault, how were you to know?

DH is back and on a case (Jury service), it sounds scary and very complex.

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 17:06

DI - that is what i thought too. DO you have mischievous child with low curiosity level by any chance?

ABF- i get pressure headaches from the weather. they are crap so sympathies hope the storm breaks so you get some relief.

Gigantaur · 05/05/2010 17:09

ARRGGHHH!!!!!
new i should have refused my children good cooked food so that i could haev stayed here all day.
My thread has been deleted and i have no idea why.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 05/05/2010 17:15

See if it had been DS, I probably would have caught him with my nailgun in exactly the way you were thinking

DD is not even 16m yet, she's too small to be naughty really.

Which thread Gigi?

Gigi, I don't know why your thread was deleted, prob because it all got a bit heated?
It was a good thing that you did trying to give her space to explain, it does get far too personal and insulting but to be honest, she started the thread and then didn't respond to any questions (and a few of us tried to be fair) put to her.
You've also missed a "why isn't DP banned" thread which was deemed a personal attack. Which it was, I suppose.

traceybath · 05/05/2010 17:31

Shiney - what an utter nightmare! Not that its any help now but i'm insured with barclays and it covers quite a lot outside of the house - perhaps look into for the future.

Sazz - very sad for your friend.

2lbs i gained have gone but want to lose another 2 lbs before holiday so have some lee-way.

Right need to go and supervise piano practice - what fun

Gigantaur · 05/05/2010 17:36

Ihave asked repeatedly why UCM was banned for drunken outbursts and yet DP is allowed to stay despite having time to consider what she is posting and yet she does anyway.

I find her views far more offensive than anything UCM put.

The thing is, the more people attack her the easier it is for her to hide behind quotes she copies.

When asked fopr her own personal views on the policies not relating to race, religion or disabililty she needed over an hour to try and come up with something.

I have met Dp and unfortunatly it isn't an act. she really does believe the stuff she posts here. I find it chilling that there are still people like her walkimng teh street and bringin up the next generation TBH

Lizzylou · 05/05/2010 17:44

Um, closeted and lack or real life experience springs to mind, Gigi.

YOu're right, she has been asked time and time again to start her own thread for a debate and then she finally does and doesn't answer any questions put to her.

I didn't see any UCM stuff to be fair, so have no idea on that one.

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 17:46

Erm is dp from ireland which is what i seem to remember.

LordPanofthePeaks · 05/05/2010 17:57

UCM was across the board offensive, with particular ref. to people who don't have white skin.
DP is similar. What may 'save' her from being booted is her coming across as very young (no idea how old she is) and just not thought out at all. She has said that she isn't responsible for what she writes and people shouldn't pay any attention to her. This isn't really up to scratch for an adults posting site'

VinegarTits · 05/05/2010 18:01

Hello have you missed me!?

Cheeky Bitter, i saw that

have been a good girl today, but bloody bored bored bored without MN

who is ucm?

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 18:04
