My sister is driving us to Margate later. Four hour journey and she is an American Rock/Radio One kind of a girl. I am more Radio 2/Classic FM

DreamsInBinary · 04/05/2010 13:25

I do like the new face - a good multi-tasker.

Unlike the face which has only one meaning, DeFluff, and don't go misusing it

VinegarTits · 04/05/2010 13:27

double where about in Ireland do you live? i love Ireland, been to Dublin a few times, charming people

AmazingBouncingFerret · 04/05/2010 13:33

Got sucked into reading the BNP thread. Always good for a laugh.

No chance of me starving. Shall probably just have some toast or something.

I have an Ironing Everest too. Shall get cracking rather than keep reading that tedious yet oddly compelling BNP thread. Shall I invite Vinny round tonight to finish it off for me?

Mouseface · 04/05/2010 13:46

Thnaks DIB.

I really do have a terrible diet! It's all fat, fat and more fat! With a side of shed loads of calories!

I have to stop and I'm off to search for healthier meal ideas that I'll like and actually want to eat!

YanknCock · 04/05/2010 13:58

Weather was nice this morning, but now looks like it will rain.

Bitter, I like the glasses. I wore them for 20 years then got lasered about 4 years ago.

HCF, welcome. I started out with nearly 7 1/2 stone to lose, now need to lose 6st 2 to reach 'normal' BMI. There are quite a few inspirational people on this thread who have lost more than 50lbs. I've got PCOS, so know about being hairy!!

Welcome back to korma!

at Mouseface's fajitas.

My breakfast is always 1 slice of medium sliced wholemeal toast with 20g whole earth peanut butter on it. 3 WW points. sometimes I have a banana.

SAF, hope you find a nursery place.

YOu all know my answer to the ironing mountain right?

Just got back from GP and shopping centre where pharmacy is. Everything takes so bloody long without the car. Ordered the locking nut key but it will take about 5 days to come so we are sans car until then.

Neither my boss nor her boss were in today so when I called in I had to speak to this total cow. I know I've only been back a week, but DS cannot go to nursery like this! His eyes were swollen shut again this morning and the discharge actually smelled very bad, so it was more than simple conjuctivitis. At least doctor confirmed I did the right thing by keeping him home and bringing him in.

VinegarTits · 04/05/2010 14:04

Bof? ironing?

yes the bnp thread is strangely compelling

MyCatIsABastard · 04/05/2010 14:06

Afternoon ladies and hello to hairy and mouseface.

Stood on the scales and have lost the 3lb I gained last week on hols so that's most pleasing.

My ironing mountain is being picked up the ironing mountain association tomorrow and will be returned flatened and crease free on Thursday . I detest ironing and now that I am working again (well from next wk), I will get it done for me .

Yank, I'm glad your DS has got some cream. Did you see my comment about cold tea? It really helps soothe DS's eyes when he gets conjunctivitus.

WHere is Claudia? Has she gone missing?

Lizzylou · 04/05/2010 14:07

Yank, what did the GP say about DS's eyes? Have you something else for them?
Conjunctivitis is sooo contagious, no way could you have sent him in to nursery, dozy moo.

Vinny, will you do my ironing?

I want my eyes lasered, but we are getting a new TV now instead, am taking one for the team alright

VinegarTits · 04/05/2010 14:08

i refuse i iron mountains anyway

i have been trying not to iron a lot lately, i wore jogging bottoms that were un-ironed at the weekend

and i nearly didnt iron my dress that i wore to the resturant, i say nearly, i thought about it, then got the iron out

Lizzylou · 04/05/2010 14:09

Hey Mycat and well done on the loss
Yes,where is Claudia?
Prob last weeks antics scared her off
Hope not.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/05/2010 14:23

Afternoon.

Lunch was anchovies, olives, bread and a tiny bit of cheese.

It was double gloucester with chives, and it needed using up.

I hardly ever iron. That't what DH is for

Yank, poor DS. I hope it clears up soon.

MyCat, well done on the loss.

And where is Claudia? I miss saying morning to her . And where's DF? Or has she namechanged again and I am too Dim to notice?

bellavita · 04/05/2010 14:25

Hello

I too was wandering about Claudia.

Had a Mitts style chopped salad for lunch - very tasty.

Spag bol for tea.

I am enjoying not doing DH's ironing, makes a big difference to my weekly work load!!

Yank - the little one is really going through the mill, bless him

Yay for MyCat's loss.

BoF - blimey you speak fast - good job I wasn't taking down shortand.... I would have failed miserably!!

I am an Ironing Mountain Association... if I was setting up instead of planning to wind down my business, I might nick that for my advertising.

However I fell asleep at the foot of my current one....

I was a good girl and had 10 grapes, 10 nuts, a coffee and a low fat HobNob instead of Two Kitkats and a Latte with 2 sugars.
My energy is bottom lining.

And I am on 4 1/2 pints of water today but will cut it down until after KBoxing....

Feel sleepy and snuggly......

BitOfFun · 04/05/2010 14:27

Apparently that money was stolen

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/05/2010 14:28

They are ace salads aren't they Bella....

I was wondering about Claudia.... but DF is in and out of names at the moment so is never far away I don't think.

Oohhhhh I am sooo cold...

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/05/2010 14:30

Oh No BoF.... That is shite. Definitely need to go ahead now then.

wastingaway · 04/05/2010 14:42

Afternoon!

My nice walk to town was spoiled by blisters from new shoes, but these things must be tolerated.

Hello HCF!

Mouseface, that is a lot of cheese. Is that why you're called Mouseface?
Reducing the cheese intake would probably solve your calorie problem. Don't input 500g cheese into Food Focus, though .

Yank, glad they gave you some more meds, poor little fella.

BoF

DIB, I love ,

I think DF is Fluffy.

VinegarTits · 04/05/2010 14:54

about the money, someone must have been waiting and watching

BitOfFun · 04/05/2010 14:58

She only realised when she realised they'd whipped her make-up bag too, from her open-topped shoulder bag.

Eight hundred pounds was bad enough- but Chanel lipgloss? The bastards

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 04/05/2010 15:02

Hello

Just checking in. I am crap at keeping up . Here for half an hour or so anyway.
