Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

1002 replies

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

Nice lie in, Shiney and well done on the weight loss.

Sazz, well done on the swimming, I am doing the swimathon on Sunday and haven't been in the pool for ages, but should be OK

Just done 30 day shred DVD, off for a shower and then to Estate Agents for a couple of hours.

Lizzylou · 14/04/2010 12:41

Oh, and DH rang earlier, he had his pay review last week, got decent pay rise and bonus. At the end of the meeting he mentioned that he'd been headhunted but had not gone for the role as he was so happy, he told boss this at the end so he didn't think he was trying to angle for more money. Also as it means the firm's IT dept is well regarded.

His boss has called him today and said they are giving him another wodge of bonus!
I can't believe it, it's not humungous amounts, but will certainly help. I am so proud of him because they didn't have to do it, he was happy with his new pay/bonus and wouldn't leave.

Sorry for the boast post, I have noone else to tell!

Alicetheinvisible · 14/04/2010 12:43

Yay Lizzy that is great news

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 12:49

Yay, well done MrLizzy!

hellsbelles · 14/04/2010 12:53

lizzy - how lovely. I think it's such a credit to him that he didn't use the headhunting as bribery! I hope you both enjoy it!

Shiney - bloody amazing.

DD still poorly so I'm surviving on about 3 hours sleep (and I managed to bang my head very hard so am feeling doubly sorry for myself)...but work is good so I better get back to it.

Lizzylou · 14/04/2010 12:54

Phew, thanks ladies.
After I posted I thought it sounded really braggy and a tad "regal"

I am v proud of him though, he was chuffed to bits.

Alicetheinvisible · 14/04/2010 12:55

Has anyone seen the Primark and stereotyping thread? It is getting nasty!

DreamsInBinary · 14/04/2010 12:55

Lizzy - that's fabulous news!

DreamsInBinary · 14/04/2010 12:56

Oh, and another Dolly fan here

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 13:09

Wow, the primark thread went really weird.

Bikinis on kids are a no-no, they just end up riding up round their necks. No bikinis until you have something to keep the top in place. Tankini (like with a vest top) is fine.

Alicetheinvisible · 14/04/2010 13:12

It has gone way beyond that though

bellavita · 14/04/2010 13:48

Hello

Sorry about your aunt Claudia

Yay for MrLizzy - you must be really proud

Trills, not long now! Where do you fly from?

I have bought this jacket this morning

and a new foundation (just about running out of my old one) and a new mascara.

Scrambled egg for breakfast and I have just had a huge veg stirfry with a drizzling of sesame oil and soy sauce. A banana to finish with.

traceybath · 14/04/2010 13:52

What happened on the primark thread - was all quite dull when I looked earlier.

Golly its dull and grey here today.

Well done MrLizzy!

Hells - double ouch for no sleep and poorly head.

Bea was up 4 times last night - i thought now she's crawling everywhere that might tire her out - oh no.

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 13:54

Trolls and a lot of talk about paedophiles Tracey - Alice was watching more closely than me.

Just eaten a Dime bar.

That's a very 'Bella' jacket No idea how I think I know your style but it feels very Bella-ish.

bellavita · 14/04/2010 13:58

at Trills!

Alicetheinvisible · 14/04/2010 14:06

Definitely what i would expect Bella to wear

Dime bars mmmmmmmmm

Tracey - i think they get 'overtired' and can't get properly comfortable once they start being more active. It seemed that way with DD.

The primark thread was just as you would expect, just a discussion that got a little heated, but then some real strangeness. A couple were being quite horrid to Mamazon too, and it started to feel uncomfortable. One poster was quite aggressive. I think M is going to leave MN

traceybath · 14/04/2010 14:07

Thanks trills.

Lovely jacket Bella!

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 14/04/2010 14:12

afternoon

ive just noticed i have hairy hands, weird

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 14:28
