Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

Oooh my mother has those too and I don't know how many throws over her furniture... there is her and my Dad and that is it. She says the furniture has got to last. She even puts an old tea towel on the foot rest my dad uses to put his feet on. My mother frets about money - they could afford to buy another sofa tomorrow if needed, but no she says this one has to last till the day they die

evening all,

I'm hells. Thanks to this thread I am now a healthy BMI and can fit into my size 12s. But I still have another 6 lbs or so to go and am on a mission to exercise more to get more energy and avoid my body collapsing in a heap.

Bella you are doing so well and you know this isn't giving up bread for good - just for a little bit!

Tracey - saw your links and I love the things. Perfect for my mental picture of you!

Bitter - pilates is lots of stretching and small muscle movements perfect for lazy arses those who don't like too much effort (like me). It's no use for weight loss though. As there is no cardio. It does tone and strengthen though.

Goodness - I hate saying it out loud but it is so easy not having to look after DS for these few days. He is such a gorgeous happy little chap with so much energy...but it's full on all teh time when he's about....so it has been a break. Of course we miss him but we are enjoying the peace and quiet!

hellsbelles · 10/04/2010 18:12

meant to say - so glad for those of you getting some time off. It's what you need to recharge isn't it?

Evening

My veg stirfry was rather nice - huuuuuuuuge plateful. I mixed together a tiny amount of sesame oil with soy sauce and lots of ground pepper and poured it over.

Oooh want to share some your winnings Vinny?

Just had huge plate of sausage, mash and green beans, now can't move.

Hello.

I am Mitts and I am knackered.
I have cycled for 1 hr.
Mowed lovely neighbours lawn.
Scarified lovely neighbours lawn.
Walked to feed friends cat. (yayy!!)
Another hours walking.

I have eaten.

Bacon sarnie on brown bread, no butter.
1 large pear.
1 large banana.
I packet snackajacks (96 cal)
I bar chocolate.

I am ravenous. Going to have a ricey thing in a minute.

So what's the Gossip then girlies? I'm with Shiney.. just fill us in on the sexy Goss .

I think one of my customers is matchmaking . She keeps bringing her Grandson down. My hair was stuck on end from cycling and I was covered in Grass clippings..not my best look... he was suitably unimpressed.

Feeling much much better and I am still deeply touched by the lovely support you all give.

Mwah mwah...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 10/04/2010 20:10

Wow new thread.

I am Fanny and am currently drinking wine through a straw haveing spent 8 hours at Paultons park plus 2 hours travelling time. I am sunburnt, knackered and about to pig out on chinese takeaway.

SlinkyGoober · 10/04/2010 20:37

Today I have eaten:
Porridge made with water,
A tiny scoop of ice cream, vanilla fudge, just so's ya know!
A sweet chilli chicken sandwich, banana, grapes for lunch,
Steamed chicken breast with new potatoes and salad, beetroot and a yogurt for tea.
2 peppermint teas and a coffee.

I went to work, then took kids to Lowestoft where the icecream was from, and walked for ages, went in and out of shops, then came home. Did ironning and hoovering.

Go for it Fanny!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 10/04/2010 20:49

Glad you had a win Vinny... and lots of male attention.. I am not surprised though

This walking malarkey is getting to be a bit of a habit shiney, you'll be getting.....walking boots next!

It's good to get a break hells... I think you all appreciate each other more for one once in a while.

Cut up old towels make the very best cleaning cloths though Bella...

Creme Eggs.. not the biggest fan but like to nibble the top off and then stick my tongue in and have a good lick, empty the contents and then pop the chocolate shell in whole whilst dribbling inelegantly.

hellsbelles · 10/04/2010 21:32

mitts - I hope the ricey thing is full of lots of other stuff - because not really enough proper food consumed today young lady

Very happy to hear you are feeling better though!

yes - I want to hear about the sex too. After all - that lube thread seemed to be the trigger for BOF's two hour sex session . Do you think all that gorgeous imagery?

wastingaway · 10/04/2010 21:41

Evening.

I'm wasting. I'm aiming to lose 3stone 6lb by October 2nd. (To start with)
I shall be doing this by eating less food and doing more exercise.

Am I allowed t admit on this thread that... I don't like creme eggs?

Walked into town earlier and bought bits of lovely things from the continental market that's in town.
Not diet food, but not too much of it, and it's a good walk. I resisted the crepes and bratwurst though.

Then we did planting of strawberry plants and sowing seeds which DS liked very much.
I've got four varieties of chillis, and courgettes and lettuce to get us started.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 10/04/2010 21:43

Wasting don't worry I don't l;ike creme eggs either.

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 10/04/2010 21:55
