Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

1002 replies

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

No they havent always been hairy, but neither has my mussie, and it is lately, must be old age kicking in

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 14:33

The trick to having a child-free holiday is to not have children...

Mussie?

Nice Jacket Bella.. I can see it suiting you..

at shiney at ''Fuck me, that man can talk'' you really are well suited aren't you

Bloody FABULOUS Lizzy... I am very pleased for you and DH.

Sorry DD is poorly hells but glad work is good.

I usually do speak to the parents Lizzy. I think I am fighting the tide really but if we all just accept it they get younger and younger and it is so sad. I confronted the guy who threatened DS as well. I used to be really nervous about it but I am not going to stand by while people make threats even if they are empty ones. I usually ask the older ones what they think of themselves for threatening a 12 yr old boy. Hardly manly IMO. I really can be a Mummy Tiger where the DC's are concerned.

I give then a chance to explain if DS is responsible in any way, I am not daft or blind to the fact he can be a wind up. To be fair, they usually say no, and then I am politely scathing.

If someone gets antsy with him on MSN I check his chat to make sure he isn't being as bad.

I wouldn't like to be a teenager right now. It is really tough.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 14/04/2010 14:46

Mussie.. But DD calls hers her 'Tushie' and it's kind of stuck....

bellavita · 14/04/2010 14:49

Someone mention hairy hands..... No, mine are not hairy either!

It is just a Lancome mascara Shiney, with a curved brush. I realised I had a little trial one in one of my makeup bags and I liked it better than the Lancome one I was using and even though I have still got a new one of the old one still in it's box I got another!

chin up!

Actually, you would have all laughed at me in the changing room - thank god it was a bloody cubicle.. I tried a top on that had one of those plastic tag things stuck in the back at the top of the neck. I tried on another jacket similar to the one I bought and thought I would try it on with the top. When I came take it off, I got the long tag which was at the back of the jacket caught round the plastic thing of the top I had on but I couldn't untangle either of them. Didn't matter which way I turned or bent.... I tried to take them both off at the same time.. I was just about to call the changing room girl when thankfully after much contortioning they came loose.

Can I just say my DH is driving me bleedin' nuts!!!

bellavita · 14/04/2010 14:51

Oh and DS1 is sooooo dead when he walks in from school! He has posted on facebook at 10am this morning from his i-pod touch which he should not be taking to school and he should certainly not be using it at school.

traceybath · 14/04/2010 14:59

Sazz - what about a personal shopping session? John Lewis are meant to be good and they'd get you to try on loads of stuff you wouldn't normally?

Or Selfridges if budget/time permits?

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 14/04/2010 15:00

oh no thats sounds like i am saying bof has a mussie too

I am gonna have a walk up to my friends.. otherwise I will just kill DH!

TrillianAstra · 14/04/2010 15:35

I think everyone thought you were talking about your ladygarden, which has presumably been hairy for while and not just since you started getting 'old'.

Do you number your to-do lists Sazz?

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 14/04/2010 17:13

Back from work, should really be doing some housework, but CBA

Shiney, I have been planning a spending spree all afternoon, though DH is the sensible one, so my planned trip to Borneo to see Orangutans may not happen

What is going on with MN today? Is Mamazon OK?

Sazz, hope you're OK lovely.

Oh, I had a message from Jet, she is OK, just struggling a bit, the Sister/Dad thing etc. I have told her how much we miss her.
