Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

Ah well, at least my fat is decreasing as my muscle increases so I suppose I shall start burning more myself. My gym mantra is 'two weeks in a bikini' and it is indeed motivating

I do give him bigger portions and he eats more fat than I do. But although both of us are naturally reasonably slim, all his family are very slender whereas mine are a little larger! Why are we women never happy?!

bellavita · 12/04/2010 22:28

DH is tucking into my homemade shortbread biscuits and bloody well making a noise whilst he is eating them too - I hate eating noise making

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 22:33

Grrrrrr......

My friend text me "* has asked me to go racing this week, what shall i wear?"
She is asking me? That girl shops more than she eats!
Which leads me onto "Why not wear the....trousers?"
Her reply? "They are way too big, hehe"
They are an 8, she is skinny because she is irresponsible and doesn't see eating as necessary, but will happily come over here and ask for double helpings of everything. She is 24, and acts like a 16 year old and wonders why people get annoyed with her and don't take her seriously!

Fleecy · 12/04/2010 22:36

Ooh bella - I hate that too. Yuck!

SlinkyGoober · 12/04/2010 22:40

Helloooooo!

Fleecy; I live in Wickham Market, near Woodbridge.

I is tired and will try to pop in tomorrow.

bellavita · 12/04/2010 22:41

bellavita · 12/04/2010 22:42

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 22:43

I told her to eat more She is great but sometimes it is like having a teenage daughter!

Fleecy · 12/04/2010 22:43

You should text 'wear a belt' and leave it at that then!

Night Goober!

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 22:43

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 22:44

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/04/2010 23:05

Evening. I have returned as you are all going to bed. Well looks like you have had nice chat. I have had a reasonable time but have an impact injury to wrist which i have only just discovered. typing hurts.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/04/2010 23:07

I'm still up DEM!

Sorry about your wrist.

Feel free to chat shit to me while I watch pineapple dance studios.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/04/2010 23:10

Or.....Not

ClaudiaSchiffer · 12/04/2010 23:17

Good Morning everyone.

Just made a tuna sandwhich for dd1 to eat for breakfast - she's now asking for olives

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/04/2010 23:19

Sorry, i have to occasionally retape my internet connection back in.

I am in an odd place today. Have been explaining the lacking of teaching about 100 times... I have to write my official notice as i havent done that yet and i am dreading it.

Bumped into to an old friend though which is nice. he has a little lad now who is very cute. proud daddy with pictures.Hockey boys were on form and very lery. Oh and i wiped out, some hockey player floored me with a thud that echoed. Which is how i did my wirst.

wastingaway · 12/04/2010 23:21

Hello DEM! Hope your wrist isn't too bad.

G'day Claudia. Mmmm, olives.

Vinny, of course! The hoody dash!

G&A was a godesend when they were putting in the epidural.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/04/2010 23:26

Morning cloud-ia, I love olives.

Hey wasting.

Glad you're still with us DEM.

Am I weird re: the lack of G&A then? I just thought 2nd babies were easier.

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/04/2010 23:27

G&A made me throw up. Pethidrine made me fall asleep (yep during labour). The stuff they use when they cut and stitch didnt work.

Then again when i have me knee op i woke up too quickly, and when i had internal bleeding it took a double dose to knock me out.

brain needs to not be going there.

Am i secretive? I have been acused so. AIBU to think that i am not secretive?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/04/2010 23:28

YADNBUDEM

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/04/2010 23:33

yep i thought i had a tendancy to over share

I guess people are reading more into the situation then there is.

I have eaten a whole tube of pringles They were ready salted, so i guess i needed to replace some lost salt.

Am knackered and need to not just be getting out of the shower when ds shouts its time to leave. however, cba getting ready for bed.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/04/2010 23:42

I think I'm off to bed actually.

Today has been so emotionally exhausting - I haven't cried as much in years.

And I've now learnt I'm a bit of a freak for not needing G&A.

See you all in the morning - You are all beautiful and fabulous.
