Hello

I am bella and have about 7lb to lose now using ww.

this series of 24 is really quite brilliant. I spend the whole time watching it in with an adrenaline rush (I must get out more!).

Mitts you are good not having a TV. I choose to blame my parents for my addiction. We were allowed very very limited access to TV when we were little so I have rebelled and watch any old crap. But truth is I know that I could be doing so much if I didn't watch it. Once we have finished 24 (only about 3 millions episodes to go) I will try to be good (and only watch pineapple dance studios...now that's quality comedy)

Bella - I am going to get me some of those t/m! How fab. I have blackheads on blackheads...niceeee.

Shiney and Lizzy - I promise to be sensible and not sign a years contract or anything. But I have it all worked out....there is one right by DS's school so I can drop him off (at 8.30) and then have a swim or workout before work. See...easy peasy . But in practice....?? We'll see.

Shiney - did you mention a walk

Trills - it would be mean (and unhealthy) not to share! I'm sure Mr Trills deserves chocolate cake.

Norma - t/m you will be good so don't fret about chocolate overload.

Sazz - I have faith you can tough this one out. you are in the right after all. Have you started menacing them yet with threats of 'legal advice'?

Off to read my new book - 'the happiness project'. Will bore you all rigid with happiness plans t/m.

Night.

hellsbelles · 06/04/2010 22:22

Trills - 'Blink' is brilliant - they have concessions in quite a few department stores. They really do thread brilliantly (though be prepared to walk around with strangely red skin round your eyebrows for an hour or so after.

Right really must go now.

TrillianAstra · 06/04/2010 22:22

Crumbs? In the keyboard? Naughty naughty, have you been eating and MNing? I never do that

I'm good, bit tired, I think it's my bedtime, sorry to abandon you, we're all clearly old ladies. DP has been looking up Heston Blumenthal's scientific credentials (none that we know of). Maybe BoF or Claudia will be along for the night shift soon.

TrillianAstra · 06/04/2010 22:23

Happiness plans sound good - pass on a distilled version of the wisdom in your book

wastingaway · 06/04/2010 22:23

I used to love those blackhead strips.

I might have to buy some.

I bought new stuff to try in Boots today. Touch of moisturiser Olay, some Nivea for dry skin and an olay face wash.
My lovely and rather expensive Lush moisturiser just ran out, so I'm experimenting.

I wasn't impressed by my beautician experiences the other year. In theory, I'd love to get my brows etc. done, but in practice it was mostly a waste of money.

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 22:24

Maybe but am giving up too, the room has cooled down enough from my mothers mad heat the whole house up before bed thing. Must remember to check central heating turned back down....

Night.

TrillianAstra · 06/04/2010 22:26

My mum went to a thingy in Debenhams near her but I don't think there is one near me...

Fleecy · 06/04/2010 22:30

I'm quite excited by the thought of the Biore strips. My skin is pretty bad for a 32 year old so I might find them quite successful.

Day one of wheat-free has proved surprisingly easy. Porridge and fruit for breakfast, oatcakes instead of crackers for lunch, rice instead of pasta with dinner. Got a bit stuck for evening snack but rice cakes have done the trick. Must now enter all on FF...

Haven't been able to do dairy-free as yet because Aldi didn't have any alternative milks. Have popped out tonight and bought some rice milk from Tescos so will start tomorrow.

hells will you really use a gym? We have belonged to various gyms four different times before and this is the first time we've actually really used it for any length of time and only then because (like Alice's sister) I have a very saggy tummy and load-bearing thighs thanks to DS' 10lb2oz bulk!

sazz sorry about your poo pants day. Enjoy your meet up with mycat tomorrow!

bellavita · 06/04/2010 22:37

Where my mum worked, a beautician used to come in at lunchtimes. My mother thought she was going to get her eyebrows plucked and thought it a little strange that the beautician asked her to lie down on the bed..... she waxed my mum's eyebrows and my mum had nooooo idea this was gonnna happen! She said it gave a good result though .

Me, I have very little eyebrow hair to speak of - due to much over plucking when I was about 14.

Hello, it's morning time here.

night night everyone in the UK.

Off to take the kids to childcare then a day of work trying to sort out our crappy business.

I caved in last minute and ate some choc eggs last night so I feel a bit cross with myself, but, god, who really cares right?

Today may go jeans shopping too. My current levis have huge rips in the knees, all a bit too Bros 1986 for my liking. I loathe jeans shopping though, nowt as depressing in my experience.

I LOVE those blackhead strips. Trills if you don't know you have blackheads then you probably don't. It is perfectly apparent that I do. grrrrrrr.

Happy birthday Jet.

Congratulations Iggi- I too look forward to pics. I love a good wedding. Sadly it's about the only time I get up and dance these days (apart from dancing in the living room with dds that is).

bits and bobs. i believe you caught saf's return, and the invasion of aliens scared off by pillow welding crayon/wet wipe eating children. Discussion about beauty routines and gyms. Think that is mostly it....

Hope you feel better tomo.

YanknCock · 07/04/2010 02:37

Right, I am turning off the laptop. We have slept for approximately 3 hours. DS barfed on me again just before bed at 8pm, but it wasn't the exorcist type thing so I think he really is better.

I, however, have woken up with a cold/cough/sore throat type thing. Fuckity fuck, I love travelling.

Flight in 3.5 hours. DH telling me 'this is no time for MNing'. I disagree

I might be able to get on a bit in the US, depending on how swamped with visitors we are. If not, will see you all in about a week (back Thursday 15th). Miss you already.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 07/04/2010 04:07

I hope the trip goes well yank and you all get better soon xxx

Lizzylou · 07/04/2010 07:31

Morning all

Boys have been despatched with DH, he is dropping them off at PILs and they are going to see the Gruffalo in Manchester, a surprise, I was itching to tell them!

Trills, I use those eyebrow wax strips, you can get them in Superdrug, that gets all the little hairs out.

Still spotty

Yank, hope you have a fab time, fingers crossed that the flight goes well for you

Claudia, hope you find some nice jeans.

Another coffee for me, I think.

Morning all

Good god I'm tired - went to bed past midnight and was woken by the boy at 4am and then the girl was up from 5am. Bleurghh.

Lovely to see you again SAF

Thank heavens for pillow-wielding, alien-busting boys. The world need never know what danger we were in

Hells - good luck in the gym

Shiney - well done on your walk

Biscuit
Alicetheinvisible · 07/04/2010 08:27

Morning

Trills - why the ?

Haven't had breakfast yet, not sure what i fancy, though i did eat a biscuit on the way to the horses at 7.30...

SAF - why would you want to inject something so nasty into your body? Think what is in that!!!

Lizzylou · 07/04/2010 08:29

Alice you are young, I have been looking into Botox, just need the funds.

Just wait until you look in the mirror and your Mom is looking back at you, you'll think differently

I don't think I'd have Botox, but am intrigued and ageing like a bastard

TrillianAstra · 07/04/2010 08:31

Thought you might like a virtual biscuit, that's all
