at Jet's glitter palace.

at DEM - they do taste nice. So does bath water.

Sazz - I can't believe how bloody rude the bank manager was and the cheek of your company...sounds like you will tell them 'what for' though!!

Lizzy - I don't family do tend to say stuff unless they mean it do they? They usually don't say anything if there is no difference....so well done!

I had a noble (ish) supper...homemade burgers with lean mince...and radish and feta sald. And my breath now stinks!

And I'm going to join a gym! And get my fat bum in gear.

bellavita · 06/04/2010 19:13

Hello girlies

Wow SAF, good to have you back - even if it is for a little while!

We have been to Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales today - it was very very nice. Bit frought between me and DH a couple of times.... (between you and me, I am the better driver of the two of us!!) DS1 complained as usual that he had to walk! I have said we are going to visit lots of nice places every weekend from now on to at least get us some fresh air and away from the bloody laptops and i-pods. DS2 very keen to go out walking - he wants a couple of those sticks that "walking people" use - said it will also keep him occupied

We had roast beef left over from Monday - DH asked for a salad with new potatoes but I couldn't face anything cold, so I did some broccoli, carrots and gravy with mine without the potatoes.

DS1 has just had a mega piece of chocolate fudge cake with fresh cream .

DEM - Sorry that you have had to make that decision, but in the long run if it is better for your DS... keep your chin up.

jet, I hope you are having a nice day and your girls are spoiling you.

And the lovely Iggi, hope today has gone well for you.

at your superior driving skills Bella! And I love the way DS2 wants the double walking sticks.

bellavita · 06/04/2010 19:28

I loved the way he said it would keep him occupied!

Don't we all drive better than our DH's/DP's hells?

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 06/04/2010 19:32

yes - I think that is a given Bella

jetcat · 06/04/2010 19:35

girls are kind of spoiling me bella Mini keeps trying to shove easter egg down my throat, and junior has agreed to sleep in mini's room with her, so i can get a full night's sleep

everyone knows us women are better drivers than men - it totally annoyed my ex when i passed my driving test first time, and it took him 3 attempts

think i have hoovered up most of the glitter now, no doubt there will be more tomorrow though

SlinkyGoober · 06/04/2010 19:38

Hello ladies.

And it was lovely weather pretty much everywhere (she's not in Scotland is she? I think that's the only place that rained!).

Off to watch 24 see you later all

MitsubishiWarrioress · 06/04/2010 19:55

SaF!! Yayyy!!.....

Hey all...Nanny McPhee Rocks! Nothing like a good british film to make you cry entertain you

Even DS loved it. He was all snuggly and we all want a pet baby elephant now

I hope Iggi had a lovely lovely day and belated balloons and streamers for the birthday girl.

at Alie and Trils meeting. I am soooooo looking forward to June.

DEM.. special thoughts to you, I wish I had some useful advice , but if I had any, I suspect I wouldn't be in a rut myself. If you still want to lean in that direction would adult education be an idea. I found your interpretation of things at the MoSI really clear and accessible. I am sorry though.

Sazz..... Thank god sometimes for the power of choice. Once upon a time, being a customer meant something. I changed my Credit card (I didn't think I'd be able to) because the phone staff are so unhelpful. I know stuff isn't their fault, but it's not their money that they are lending either

Right.... more tea....

TrillianAstra · 06/04/2010 20:04

Yes, I wonder when Iggi will come and tell us all about it? Not too soon, I hope.

Alicetheinvisible · 06/04/2010 20:22

Is anyone watching Supersize v superskinny? They said that for someone of 5ft4 the lowest healthy weight is 7st13 WTF!!! If i get below 9st i look ill and i am quite petite (well, technically )

The bloke on there has a BMI of 58 and the woman's is 14 Such a difference!

Alicetheinvisible · 06/04/2010 20:23

Trills - have you eaten the cake?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 06/04/2010 20:24

Evening all.

Alice I keep forgetting to watch that.

Had a good day today, DD was good which makes all the difference but ened up driving about 15 miles for a dozen eggs.

DD age 4 also cooked with help chicken chow mein, tomorrow we are attempting homemade burgers.

Have change over tomorrow but no one in tomorrow night and then busy again.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 06/04/2010 20:31

Mmmmmm... cake!

TBH, I don't watch any Telly.

DD is snuggled and delicious. I could happily get under her quilt and drop off with her. I love it when she reaches her arms out for a hug and is all warm and sleepy.
