Bella, do you think that that was the effect Mitts was after ?

Wasting, I am crap at remembering birthdays, FB has been a godsend, if people are not on FB or I haven't given birth to them I never remember

I am soooo spotty, think I may go and do a facepack.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 06/04/2010 21:21

Well...having just held on to my modesty I did have a giggle about it. What else can you do?

Night all... It really is nice to come home and have folk to natter to

Sleep well all xx

bellavita · 06/04/2010 21:22

Shiney - have you been walking? Around the living room?

I have been walking to the kitchen and back... but our flat is quite small so I don't think it counts.

I used to do so many facepacks and things when I was a teenager - didn't ever make the spots go away though. Have they got any better since? Or are they just fun? I used to love the heating-up ones or the peely-off ones.

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 21:27

Sazz, no problem. DH will be v happy to have meatballs and spaghetti for tea instead. Hope your DD is OK. Bloody kids eh!?

Night Mitts.

NormaSknockers · 06/04/2010 21:28

Fell off the diet wagon today, not good. Urgh. When I get tempted by chocolate again someone for goodness sake remind me how crappy it makes me feel & tell me it's not worth it!

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 21:30

I will let you know tomorrow if the facepack has magically cleared up my spotty skin, Trills.
I wouldn't hold your breath, but I feel I must at least try something.

Night all

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 21:30

Trills I love the heating up face masks. Make me feel like they are actually doing something.

I've always wanted to try those strips that you put on your nose then pull off and they pull out all the blackheads. The thought makes me feel a bit excited and a bit squeemish at the same time.

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 21:32

Oh, those strips don't work, Mycat, I sooo wanted them to, but no pus filled strips
Though was about 15 yrs old when I tried them, perhaps with this new fangled modern technology they work miracles now???

Right, facepack, book, bed, bye!

bellavita · 06/04/2010 21:32

It ain't worth it Norma!! Tomorrow is another day though..... start with a hot water and lemon and have a "light" day if you can.

I buy the Biore strips girls for the nose and face - they work for me! They are expensive though about £8 for 6 strips.

I consider the goo covering associated with toddlers a protective film.

I love Lush facemasks. There was always loads of spare ones when I worked there, so we all used them all the time.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 06/04/2010 21:37

Ooh Wasting which one did you work at. My nephew is now head of IT dept there and redesigining the website.

wastingaway · 06/04/2010 21:38

In Doncaster. I miss my 50% discount. Do you get lots of freebies?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 06/04/2010 21:40

Occasionally when he doesn't give away to his GF, step mother and his fathers girlfriend. I had a bath bomb which had an invite to theire christmas party in it.

wastingaway · 06/04/2010 21:40

Oh, that's cool!

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 21:41

ooh lizzy, maybe we should go for the Biore ones that bella used. I really want to try them now.

wasting I love Lush, just had their latest magazine through. I use their Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo, it's gorgeous. I always think their soaps and facemasks looklike something you could eat.

Five, I'm glad they are re-designing the website. I always struggle to actually buy anything on it and end up phoning them.

bellavita · 06/04/2010 21:48

MyCat - you have to really wet the area you are going to stick it on to and then once the strip is on let it dry to like a plaster of paris! It is soooo satisfying when you pull them off and there are "things" attached.

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 22:03

bella, I'm getting strange fluttery excited feelings just thinking about it.

I really must get out more!

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 22:04

Well, the thought of zit pulling strips has made me come over all queer and tired me out. I'm off to bed everyone. Have a good evening.

Do I have blackheads? Would know if I did? Pulling them out sounds very satisfying.

Quitekeen to get some threading done, but not bothered enough to find out who does it or book it. I pluck my eyebrows but there are always little tiny ones that are too difficult to get hold of and I'd love properly nicely done eyebrows.

Where is Shiney?

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 22:18

all that walking must have tired her out

I am a lucky person as i have never had to bother with plucking of eyebrows. Not been needed until recently and even thenit is only the odd one or two strays.

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 22:18

grr... bloody crumbs...

How are you doing today trill?
