I want the plum I can't have, and it's driving me mad - 10/10 thread with new added BOOTCAMP

Well some of us have strayed from the path of righteousness. Some of us have been off MN for a while. Some of us have got a bit porky apparently So this is a 10/10 thread with added extras.... the usual 10/10 thread remains (I think it's still going?) for people who want to eat more fruit and veg but don't need / want to lose weight.

The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. This is a kind of splinter 10/10 thread, the focus IS on weight loss / inch loss, as well as improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being, but the idea is to do this by eating healthily and getting more exercise, rather than anything drastic, cutting out food groups, etc. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

I don't mean you can't have seeds and avocado, but I like to have the whole lot, with dressing, and don't forget I am not vegi so this salad is also with chicken or fish.

You would just be left with leaves.

I don't think I have I have had a jacket potato for months. Mmm, I could inhale a jacket potato right now. Right, I plan to have it tomorrow with roasted veg.

Funny how bf affects people differently, I never lost weight until I stopped.

CoupleofKooks · 21/03/2010 17:10

i did guerilla gardening today, on a little tatty triangle on shit litter waster land.

I have eaten apple
grapes
a rocket and cream cheese sarnie
roast thing with purple-sprouting broccolli, carrots, red cabbage and beans.
and a pacxket of crisps which were 83 k.
How can I not be losing any weight?

EllieMental · 21/03/2010 21:29
