We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

afternoon everyone, i have watched re runs of Vampire Diaries all morning, but not slept at all because of this damn cold, Mitts thanks for worrying about me, i am fine really, just big wuss when it comes to being ill

T&F why would we hate you? a weight issue is a weight issue whether your trying to put it on or take it off, personally i think being too skinny is a bad as being over weight and just as unhealthy

VinegarTits · 17/02/2010 13:31

Shiney i love going to the Dentist (hate having to pay the ridiculous prices like) because my Dentist is soooo sexy

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 13:33

DF - those questions? Tell me if you find out the answer as DH does exactly the same.

Cat is the EP expert but I've been taking 2 tablets a day of the 1000mg (seven seas evening primrose with starflower oil)....hoping it also gets rid of wrinkles and cellulite I'm probably going to go down to 1 tablet once I feel I'm completely on track.

Own very own Trillian has a beautiful figure and is not trying to lose weight

And TWC isnt dieting either

VinegarTits · 17/02/2010 13:56

off for a shower, i stink

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 14:41

TWC probably wants to be bigger too....

They're not skinny-haters at all. I am just trying to eat a better diet rather than eat less. Have had oxtail soup for lunch and some yoghurt-coated raisins. And there are grapes on my desk, so I am good.

I clearly like to heang out where I don't fit the description, on Mumsnet on a (sorta) diet thread

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 14:55

the sorta is so important there.

Almost completed constructed on lesson plan and resources. its taking ages. but there is rather a lot. for this lesson. hopefully lesson 5, 7, 8 will take less time. Need to get the power points done for year 9 done today as well. Only just realised i havent eaten lunch yet so off for a little eye break. Then hitting the pdfs again. Oh joy. And to think ds is swanning around cambridge with his dad going to museums and eating burger king I know what i would prefer to be doing right now.

Well done DEM, keep at it

I am not trying to lose weight either as i am pregnant, just want to change my lifestyle really and not make food/unhealthy/healthy issues with my DD (and baby)

I am in a better mood this afternoon. DH is quiet at work this week so he is coming to the horses with me over lunch, and it means DD gets a decent nap in the afternoon and i get a quiet afternoon.

YanknCock · 17/02/2010 15:20

still in my bathrobe.

DS is wearing a rather bizarre outfit of brown/white striped romper, blue knee socks, teal knitted cardigan, and purple drool bib. He looks like Ugly Betty's baby.

had halloumi and roasted veg sandwich for lunch

ToccataAndFudge · 17/02/2010 15:26

ahhh now I can't claim to have a beautiful figure - plenty of wobbly bits - just some bits are too skinny for my liking so trying to fatten them up with the bits that don't seem to have got very skinny getting bigger

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/02/2010 15:31

Toccata...DON'T LEAVE. We don't hate anybody on here. My key reason for being on a healthy eating thread is because I need to watch what I eat as it affects my health and depression. The 1/2 stone I need to lose is of relative importance.

But my eating is 'issue' related and the motivation and company on here helps a great deal.

You could be Penelope Cruz (my ideal woman) and I would still think you should post here because something has drawn you to us....so staaaaaaaaayyyyyyy........

In fact if Penelope is lurking.....g'waaaann join in !

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 15:32

DP just texted and he is going to the supermarket (being a proper house-husband now that he's starting back at work next week). I wonder if he'll come back with anything nice? He'll possibly do the opposite of what men are supposed to do and buy only exactly what's on the list. The stereotype on here is that men get distracted by ginger beer and pilchards and pickled frogs legs and forget to get eggs.

ShowOfHands · 17/02/2010 15:34

Greetings.

Sorry to be in absentia the last few days. I think I have had the same lurgy everybody has had. Curbs your appetite though doesn't it, having absolutely feck all sense of smell/taste and a throat like razor blades?

Anyway, am SOH, obviously. Have lost 2.5 stones through running and eating sensibly. I am diametrically opposed to dieting. I am off on holiday in 5 weeks and want to wear a swimming costume without other holiday-goers shucking a tarp over me and rolling me back out to sea. I've upped my running schedule from 4 to 5 times a week and am on the hunt for a swimming costume. Although, I'd rather wear a wetsuit to be frank. I'm quite shy. In an ideal world I would be able to fit into my wedding dress again. I nearly can, just can't quite do the zip all the way up and it cuts off the blood supply to vital parts. Why I want to fit into it I have no idea, I'm not planning on getting married again. Might keep dh on his toes if he thinks I am planning it though. Picture of me in wedding dress on my profile I think, nearish the bottom.

Having a bit of a duvet day with dd recovering from the lurgy.

My motivation for getting fit over the next 5 weeks is this. If I stick to my fitness routine for the entire time I can have my hair cut and styled before going on holiday (big treat, haven't had my haircut by anybody other than dh for years). I am also going to put a picture of me in a swimming costume on fb. If I haven't made the effort then so be it, I look like a beached whale and you can all laugh at me. Carrot and stick.

ShowOfHands · 17/02/2010 15:36

Trill, when I was in labour with dd, dh nipped out to take some rubbish to the tip and came back with a comic, baby bubble bath and stretchmark cream. Presumably, he didn't forage any of it out of a skip.

He always comes back with things not on the list. And leaflets. He's always picking up bloody leaflets.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/02/2010 15:39

Afternoon all.

Tocatta - don't go as our leader said, we come in all shapes and sizes here.

VT and Shiney hope you are enjoying you day in bed.

we had to abandon the cinema trip as DD threw up so she has been vegging on the sofa feeling sorry for herself. I have treated us to some monkfish for supper which I am going to wrap in parma ham. Weigh in tonight, please may I lose some weight.

ShowOfHands · 17/02/2010 15:40

Actually, there's video footage on t'web of me in a wedding dress if you look hard enough. Not quite as exciting as the hf/ashley cole google adventure I admit.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/02/2010 15:40

Oh and I bought some new clothes from tescos in a size smaller as my usual size looked like they were going to be to big.

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 15:41

I've just had a call to say that he's noticed the vodka is running low and is this a good price?

Defluffmyfanjo · 17/02/2010 15:49

SoH - beautiful children on your profile photos and you look lovely in your dress.

Is that your husband in photo number 2??? If so would you mind very much if I slept with him? just the once or twice? He's v my type well, as long as he's over 6ft (narrows eyes) is he????

[gets coat as it is prob not done thing on here to sleep with other's husbands]

ShowOfHands · 17/02/2010 15:54

Oh Five. I'm rubbish with a poorly child, turn into a fretter.

Was the vodka a good price?

Defluff, all the same child. She's very different now, I'm just crap at updating my profile.

Can you sleep with my 6ft, well endowed husband? Erm, I'm not very good at what's acceptable in social circles these days. I live in the middle of nowhere and eschew anything Modern. What's the polite/right answer? He's a super star. Actually the best person I know. He has a single brother who is the spit of him (have seen him naked- don't ask- and there's nothing too unexpected there)? Would that be easier than us having to fight to the death over one man?

Is it the done thing to pimp one's BIL out on t'internet?

SOH - age, picture, job description needed, looking for my sister.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/02/2010 16:05

Laughing at DeFluff and SoH....

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/02/2010 16:08

I am very good with poorly children, and very good with genuinely distressed children, but children that cry/whine/whinge for attention do tend to turn me into a tense, grumpy, irritable, three headed monster who is likely to SHOUT VERY LOUDLY..aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
