OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

Oooohh.. Fanny..I want to see the Princess and the frog with DD

I have run out of things to do to stall starting work.

I won't switch you all off if you promise to be good and not tempt me to keep coming back on and distracting me......

Lizzylou · 17/02/2010 10:41

OOH Mycat, how lovely!
What a very decadent start to your birthday, enjoy

HI doubleinstructions

Cannot get going today, I NEED to do some work...

Jet, mini is such a munchkin (so lovely in the pics as well), I think Peppa Pig with a tambourine sounds fab

MitsubishiWarrioress · 17/02/2010 10:43

Although I will tell you that the customer who's ironing I am doing is going on holiday.
His wife's washing is always lovely, but the last time they went away it wasn't up to her usual standard. So I starched a couple of the shirts. Not knowing he was allergic, and spent the entire holiday covered in a rash and itching very badly..

MyCatIsABastard · 17/02/2010 10:43

Lizzy, I love decadence. There is simply not enough of it in my opinion .

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 10:48

Cat - what a perfect birthday morning!

I can't keep up with all your namechangers! I'm too slow.

Defluffmyfanjo · 17/02/2010 10:57

Happy birthday Mycat! Have a fab one!

Welcome Essence and Double.

I am Fluff. I gave birth 6 weeks ago and still look 5 months pregnant

Need to lose about 4 stone. Not on any specific diet, just trying to stop eating cadburys cream egg ice cream for breakfast.

BOF - What the hell was hf on about on that thread?? Who is Kitty Spencer and what's it got to do with Cheryl?!

Oh, have also got pnd, again gah. Bizarrely, one day I can't get out of bed and spend all time crying, next I'm actually fine and really happy. No indication of when mood is about to change which is confusing DP. Especially as I've dumped his arse at least 10 times this week

Thanks to those who said soothing things re the love bite by the way.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 10:58

Well done Norma!

And Yank! you've lost more haven't you.
Hope you feel better soon. Childcare and illness is not a fun combination.

Hope you're feeling better soon too Vin.

What a fab birthday morning MyCat!

Trill, gin and pancakes?! It's like you're inside my mind.

Alicetheinvisible · 17/02/2010 11:02

Having a rubbish day too.

MyCatIsABastard · 17/02/2010 11:05

Fluff, I'm promoting evening primrose oil all over the place at the moment and I'm going to say it to you too. I found it helped with PND and you can take it when breast feeding (I asked on here and the estimable tik tok confirmed it was fine). MIght be worth a try.

All those having a bad day, I hope it gets better soon. The weather is horrible and that really doesn't help.

Defluffmyfanjo · 17/02/2010 11:09

Mycat - will give that a go, thank you. I normally have pretty bad pmt anyway so dont know if pnd is linked to that but i had heard evening prim was good for that. I'm not bf anyway so no worries there.

Alice - hope you're ok, i can send you a waft of (slightly sicky) new baby smell if you like

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 11:14

Sorry defluff, x-posts. my neith can i comment was dirrected to the name changing comment.

Hope you are ok defluff.

right work...

MyCatIsABastard · 17/02/2010 11:21

fluff I had terrible PND with DD but not so much (if at all) with DS and I'm sure that epo helped (that and the fact the DS was a much easier baby than DD). It's worth a try, just to say you've given it a go if nothing else.

Shiney will you tell me how to join up on fb right now or I will sulk and cause more trouble like yesterday

NormaSknockers · 17/02/2010 11:56

You ok Defluff? I had PND with DD, no fun but being aware of it is a huge step already. Do you have a half decent HV?

TRills - gin & pancakes sounds like an evening well spent to me

Shiney I did have to stiffle a snort ay 'dirty milksahek' Boooooo at all the car cleaning it involved though! Bah about your teeth too, that's not good & bloody expensive too!

Well my size 16 jeans arrived this morning, so, I can get them up, I get them zipped up if I hold my breath & although I get a giant sized muffin top that's got to be a good thing right? My size 18s are literally hanging off me now so can't be much longer til I can actually wear the size 16's Chuffed though I was a size 22 last year

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 12:11

shiney - nice to have you back for ourselves...now you've got FB out of your system

Poor you with the vomit. We now travel with numerous towels (after DD's very impressive projectile) and if DD even so much as belches - it's shoved all around her.

Norma - that's brilliant. What an amazing achievement.

Dem - LESSON PLANS

Hello all , I am feeling slightly less queasy and hung over now . Scrambled eggs are a magical cure

I need to do more excercise . I have bought Davinas dvd , will I lose weight just by having it in the house ?

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 12:49

Fluff - sorry to hear you have PND. Cat got me onto evening primrose for my PMT and it's already making a difference.

TW - I tried that (proximity to DVD as weight loss tool) - it seemed to be working for an hour or so....but alas it doesn't in the long term

Must go check out Shineys sex session

jetcat · 17/02/2010 13:08

well done Norma on the jeans front I found some of my old size 24s a couple of days ago - wow!! It was like one of those adverts where they fit the whole new person into the old one! (well, not quite there yet but YKWIM)

I reckon it wont be long now before you are wearing those size 16s with a slinky top

Sorry for the teeth and car Shiney - but i did at the dirty milkshake

How is Taya doing?

ToccataAndFudge · 17/02/2010 13:16
Defluffmyfanjo · 17/02/2010 13:16

Its really strange, I had pnd after last birth and ended up divorced - although that was mainly because exH is a total twat

Wanted to avoid that this time obviously but iit snuck up on me. As I said at times I'm fine (like now) at others I just burst into tears. Have also been avoiding going out with friends etc as it just seems too much effort but am getting stern with myself and tonight am out for a meal with 2 friends.

Couple of questions for you... why does (d)p put the tea bags on the side when the bin is literally a foot (if that) away? And why does he put empty packets / boxes back in the cupboard??

Shines - I've sent you a request.

Hells - thanks, will definitely try EP, how much do I need to take a day?

Defluffmyfanjo · 17/02/2010 13:19

Norma - you go girl! That's an amazing amount you've lost

oh and as for my hv I have a different one each time, they seem nice but I have a private woman I see at The Priory who I've seen since last had pnd so am ok.
