Oooh claps hands together - I am off to London with DH. He has a meeting on the 20th Feb and it is followed by a night out. Usually he cannot go afterwards because the last train is about 8.00pm. We have some points left from booking our holiday so I have booked Le Meridien Piccadilly for us both! I will shop whilst he has his meeting during the day!

I have just told him I will need a new outfit now... He said but you bought stuff today - yep I did but not for a night out in London

Hello to everyone - especially our newbies!

traceybath · 10/01/2010 19:12

Ooh Mamazon I would be fuming - was DS's hair long before?

Bella - a night in london - how lovely. Was just discussing with my mother that once Baby Bea is 1 and I stop bf I will be out and about without dc's so much.

I do think I've gone snow mad this week. We're not forecast anymore so hopefully will get back to some normality this week.

Was meant to be off to Bicester on wednesday but think I'll postpone that till next week.

Hello to all the new ladies - I'm new myself and it is a very friendly thread.

Tomorrow is the start of diet proper as this week has been a bit rubbish.

bellavita · 10/01/2010 19:17

Oh Mamazon - I remember when DS2 cut his own hair.... was shocking. It will grow.

hellsbelles · 10/01/2010 19:43

isketch sounds far to addictive. I'm going to force myself NOT to look at it.

Bella - how fab to have that all booked up. Should be lovely - and you'll be right in the centre of it all where you are staying which is perfect. You can get pampered at the same time as you shop now. A lot of the big department stores have nail & brow bars (you probalby know that already but just in case you didn't!)....the threading places (usually a place called blink) do wonderful things to your eyebrows. Though you have to be prepared to walk around with a red head for about 40 mins afterwards which is a bit weird! And it's painful.

Mamazon - your poor DS. I would be livid too.

I have a new reason to get thin. I've been talking to DB and SIL about sharing a villa holiday with them and their DC's in the summer. SIL had my niece about 4 months ago but this woman is sooooo beautiful and has the most amazing figure (LL - she's also nice and clever which makes it even worse )

So I don't fancy being the fat sister round the pool (and I don't want DH to feel sorry for himself for having the dodgy wife. So I must get bikini ready by then. No question.

I've been boringly good on the diet today. All this talk of roasts is making me jealous.

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 19:55

i eaten 5 cold roast potatoes someone slap me

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 19:57

ds2 has started shoving bits of cardboard into his playmobil recycle truck, right idea but wrong place

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 19:59

Oh Mamazon your poor ds, i would be devastated if some cut ds2 hair with asking me, even his dad knows not to do this

bellavita · 10/01/2010 20:02
hellsbelles · 10/01/2010 20:02
Mamazon · 10/01/2010 20:05

thanks all.
His hair wasn't what i would call long but it did need a trim. he has a short back and sides usually so at the longest it would have been maybe and inch and a half long.

finally got through tot xp and told him what i twunt he was. not that he gave a shit. he just went on about how it was about time he had a proper boy hair cut (shaven head to match his pathetic hard man image)

honestly, he has done it himself and you can tell. there are long bits all over it plus he has cut into it with teh bare blade.

It's about a number 1 so i think im going to have to bare blade him all over in order to neaten it all up. We are going to mums tomorrow for second opinion
I literally gasped in horror when he dropped the hood of his jumper and i saw it.

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 20:08

you better slap me again ive just eaten 3 chocolates

Mamazon · 10/01/2010 20:10

i am getting quite envious of all these roasts actually.

and i did have a fleeting moment where i realised that if i had the car i would have been in it on my way to sainsbo's to get some of those reduced Roses someone was talking about earlier.

this is why im a lard arse

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 20:12

oh ffs, what a tit mamazon, a proper boys hair cut?

what make him look like he just walked out of a romanian orphanage and thats a proper boy? i would have asked him how he felt about coming me round with my razor and doing a DIY haircut on him

dearprudence · 10/01/2010 20:12

VinegarTits - We're not angry, we're just disappointed.

Mamazon, I hate the phrase 'proper boy'. It makes me so mad.

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 20:13

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 20:14

Vinny - do you like pain or summat

FWIW, I can't stand her either.

bellavita · 10/01/2010 20:17

She has zero personality.

Mamazon · 10/01/2010 20:18

its really really horrible. he is quite a stocky lad with big buck teeth and glasses, all on a very round face.

don't get me wrong, to me is the most beautiful boy in the world but a shaved head is just about the worst hair cut he could ever have.

bellavita · 10/01/2010 20:18

FFS - she will be getting the bloody sympathy vote with the scores from the judges - what is the 4.0 for?

VinegarTits · 10/01/2010 20:20

imagine if her leg flys off mid skate, could kill someone

bellavita · 10/01/2010 20:22

at Sazz - we could have a champagne lunch!!

Mamazon, try not to get upset, it will grow.
