I have just looked at your pics Mamazon - I knew you were gorgeous but your children are too. People will see past his haircut.

Mamazon · 10/01/2010 20:28

thank you Bella thats lovely.

I keep telling him its ok, it'll grow. i am trying very hard to believe it.

My mum suggested cutting wriggly lines in i like the "gangsta" kids.
she really is no help

Evening all. Hello new people.

Today I have mostly been eating crap. I've tried to make it healthy crap (weight watchers cakes) but it was still crap.

Sazzles - I bloody love Stowford Press! I'm going to have to have a glass of red wine now just to get the thought of it out of my head.

Mamazon - that's a bloody crap wthing to have done to your DS! What a pillock. Lots of hats for a while?

VT - step away from the roasties and lob them this way

Right, just going to have a little swear - feck, arse, bollocks, shit. That's a bit better, DD & DS are great kids but christ it is bloody hard work and boring with them sometimes.

if its uneven the best thing to do is take him to a Barber and they will even it out for him

I personally hate the shaved hair look on young boys

(apologies to anyone who likes this, i just think it is so out of date)

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 10/01/2010 20:32

Mamzon - i think the reason why your mum has suggested the wiggle line thing is that it is the lastest craze and most of the lads at the school i was last at had that done. It would make it look more deliberate rather then hacked.

However, if someone had done that to ds i would be seriously hacked. Thankfully ex and i have fairly similar opinions about ds' hair and ex is too lazy to be arsed to cut ds' hair even if asked to.

Mamazon's little boy is scrumptious- I have met him, and he is the kind of boy you just want to squeeze

well im currently banking on it staying very cold for a while so that he can keep hats welded to his head.
He is ASD so if i tell school that his latest thing is wearing hats they will be fine with him keeping one on at school. he is terrified people will call him names.

i am having real cravings for apple crumble and custard.

well mostly the custard.

im thinking maybe if i go with this S diet thing i can have it cos its a sunday.

TrillianAstra · 10/01/2010 20:47

Avatar was soooooooo bee-yooo-teeeeee-fulllllll.

(will read now)

I'm about to tuck into cheesecake

I had the most delicious dinner tonight- DP made taco trays with a great chilli, homemade guacamole and soured cream. I love it when he goes all cheffy

He brought me breakfast in bed at around two o'clock as well- two perfectly soft-boiled eggs, a sausage and sliced avocado arranged round the edge, with jalapeno sauce and fresh orange juice.

He even arranged it in the shape of a face

I am a lucky bugger...

Mamazon ? does 5?12? count as lofty? And I love wearing my 3? heels (if only I could walk in them). But wish I didn?t have this lumpy bit in the middle... Going to do rehabilitation exercises for long-term lower back pain next week, and I have been promised a firmer midriff too ? we shall see
WTCR ? I know it?s not all salad, but I feel I have to have some to make it a real diet... problem is it?s (a) it?s really expensive in the winter, and (b) doesn?t even fill you up. Got to slaver it in mayo to make it edible.

Vinny - I saw my DH give 2 of his roast potatoes to the kids at lunch, after I had eaten all my 4....

Will have dreams about Heather?s leg flying off & hitting Gordon Ramsey in the mush

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 10/01/2010 20:53

tis the beauty of the no-s-diet.

TrillianAstra · 10/01/2010 20:55

at 5 ft 12.

Am not an i-sketcher. Is enough work to keep up with the chat.

Avatar was not dull, it was sci-fi but not unlike pocahontas storyline, and if you got bored you could just marvel at how gorgeous it all was. Totally worth it. And I could see it (was worried cos one of my eyes is a bit off and you need 2 eyes to see 3d).

Mm, I want to eat what BoF has.

bellavita · 10/01/2010 21:02

It would do very nicely Sazz!

Trill, DH and DS1 want to go to see Avatar.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 10/01/2010 21:03

I have to promote veggie based soups again DT.....make huge pans full with loads of veg, and then blend/mash/ or leave and they are fab. Add meats if you want but as long as they are mostly veg they are good.

I have them out of a mug and it helps me to avoid having huge mountains of bread with it.

Helloo by the way,

I am going to have a bath and then go to bed to read so goodnight....

DeadTall · 10/01/2010 21:11

Mitsubishi - I too am a fan of soup - anything that fills me up all afternoon has to be good. Made lots of chicken stock this afternoon so I will souping tomorrow

'night all - off to cuddle DH on the sofa with a small glass of red

hellsbelles · 10/01/2010 21:15

oh Trills glad you liked it. DH & DS saw it and DS said it was 'utterly brilliant, 100 out of 10!' And DH loved it as well. I"m desperate to see it now.

Bella - just reread my post - I didn't mean to sound so utterly twattish. I don't know why I told you about all the nail bars and stuff as I realise you must know all about all the stuff....it's just that I so rarely get to do that I start thinking about all the things I would love to do if I could get out sans DD & DS! Sorry.

Mitts - enjoy your bath.

BOF - my perfect food day.

dearprudence · 10/01/2010 21:16

Soup is a great idea. I have a cauliflower that needs using...

TrillianAstra · 10/01/2010 21:17

So apparently some people loved it and other hated it, and also

"Those who went to see the archetypal-plot, passable-acting, formulaic message, entertaining backstory, glorious visuals, and battle scenes the likes of which God has never seen, and were utterly satisfied."

IggiBurns · 10/01/2010 21:19

Just marking place

TrillianAstra · 10/01/2010 21:35

Soup is the best winter food. In fact, soup is better than salad even in summer.

FlamingoBingo · 10/01/2010 21:37

Mitts - I so agree re. the soups! I make loads from our lovely riverford box. Good idea about the mug drinking.

Right, wise women, come and help me in further education - help me plan my life!

TrillianAstra · 10/01/2010 22:01

Riverford box?

I wish I were the sort of person who could have one of those, but I don't like/eat enough veg.
