I must learn to read posts properly, as i just skim read yours Bella, and was very

bellavita · 14/01/2010 17:49

No jet it wouldn't although you would burn a good few calories. It is really really fast paced and literally, the sweat drips off you.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 14/01/2010 17:49

Aw Bella You are so kind and lovely I thought it was you at first then I was thrown and started to think it was mamazon or royalty....now we know the truth

Men are all the same when it comes to DIY. DH gets all huffy puffy, swearing and completely insists on doing things the hard way.....when I make a suggestion it's always "no, that will never work".....cue an hour later, I jump in and try my suggestion, which (sometimes) works then he goes in the huff with himself for not thinking of it first. You canny win.

Tonight is chicken with fries. Sorry but it is needed Oh and did I mention the gin and bitter lemon.....it's been a freezing day, I need junk food.

Spinning? Tried it once, and I have to say that if I wanted to give myself a heart attack I'd rather snort a mahoosive bag of coke - at least I'd go out on a high and still be able to talk bollocks

new thread here

Didn't realise though that crossings out don't work in titles .

YanknCock · 14/01/2010 18:40

well, our first gym for DH/aquaaerobics for me session has been cancelled. We can't leave DS with our friend when he's been screaming/moaning near constantly since 11:30am. Tried baby nurofen around 4pm thinking it was his teeth, but doesn't seem to have helped much. He just had a feed which is good since earlier today he just wailed and pulled away from me. Don't know what to do, thinking I will phone NHS direct to see what I should be looking out for. He's not had his usual explosive poo today yet...has been holding his body very stiffly so am wondering if his tummy is bugging him. Doesn't seem to have a fever. I didn't think they could get constipated when breastfed?

Feel quite useless, I don't know what is wrong with him. DH trying to wind him now and he's quiet, but I don't think it will last.

aww Yank, hope he feels a little better soon

BoF - that would be a more fun way of doing it!

Lizzylou · 14/01/2010 18:53

Could you put him on his tummy, Yank? On a playmat/rug whatever?
BF babies do get constipated and windy, trust me!

Oh poor baby Yank . Actually, before I fully read your post and then saw Shiney's, I thought she was talking about jiggling and rubbing your DH

YanknCock · 14/01/2010 18:58

have got him over my knee on his tummy and am jiggling. called nhs direct and waiting for call back. gone all terrified PFB and cried down phone at them. i think because i read a post recently where a baby had a bowel problem that came on suddenly and baby died.

Lizzylou · 14/01/2010 19:01

Oh Yank, of course you are upset and worried, this is your precious baby!
Over your knee is good, just please don't worry, am sure he is just windy/constipated.

Just make sure that you are not wearing white.
Because when that big explosive poo comes.............

All DS1's vests used to end up a mucky ochre colour
And how come BF baby's poo has bits in, what's that all about???

jetcatisfrozen · 14/01/2010 19:01

hang on in there Yank

bellavita · 14/01/2010 19:07

Lizzy, tis just like when you vomit due to over indulging with the drink. There is always carrots and tomato skins in there even if you have never eaten them!

dearprudence · 14/01/2010 19:17

Sorry your baby's not well Yank. I had a breast fed baby who was often constipated. The midwife used to recommend I gave him water, but obviously you should check advice for your own baby.

My mum would have said put a teaspoon of sugar in the bottle . "Yes mum, but he doesn't have a bottle".

Now with the spinning - right now, it's not so much the legs that hurt but the... er... bunty. Agony.

Five classes a week bella?!

YanknCock · 14/01/2010 19:30

All is well. Nurse from NHS direct phoned back, DH brought phone up while I was upstairs putting him in pajamas, and just as she started asking me questions DS started parping, leading to a giant explosive poo that the nurse could hear over the phone! She reckoned he'd had wind trapped all day and it just got worse and worse until having his big poo relieved it. Of course he stopped crying and started cooing and grinning at me, so I felt a bit of a tit for phoning---but nurse was very nice about it, said she could see how it would be scary being my first baby and him never having behaved like this before.

Thanks everyone....on to the new thread to talk about cock and cake.

BitOfFun · 14/01/2010 19:34

Oh that's great- nothing like a good poo

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 14/01/2010 19:35

Yay for BabyYanks massive poo!

Bella, I am not sure what you mean, I have never vomited due to excessive booze consumption and quite frankly, I am rather disgusted that you have.

DreamsInBinary · 14/01/2010 19:36

for baby Yank's poo!

Poor thing - trapped wind is horrible. Must have been a relief for you both

DreamsInBinary · 14/01/2010 19:37

Ho ho, so says LizzYWhoDrankAllTheRumLou

bellavita · 14/01/2010 19:37

Lizzy, you are a one!

Yay for baby Yank!

bellavita · 14/01/2010 19:39

DIB - thanks for reminding me about that!!

Lizzylou · 14/01/2010 19:39

Only reason I was slim(ish) as a student, go out get pissed, get up at midday, puke, then go out drinking again.
Fab

Ooh, enough Rum talk, DIB, I can barely walk past the garage without stifling a dry heave.
