Ahhh - i see i had multiple responses earlier that i x-posted with am now clear about the shoes.

Aprostropie wise if you put Bella's house then one bella has a house, if you put bellas' house then you mean many bellas own one house if that makes sense.
the rule is: if it is singular then the appostrophie is between the end of the word and the s, unless the word ends in an s when the appostrophy comes after the s. when the word is plural then the approstropie comes after the s.

Morning all, blooming DS2 woke me up at 3am having a bad dream, couldn't sleep after that with DH's snoring and jabbing me with his toenails.

Knackered, no wonder I am in bed so early at the moment.

Only a little bit of extra snow here, so hopefully will be start of the thaw, bloody well hope so.
