Evening all
Flamingo, that does not sound pleasant - I am in a similar situation in that I got an implant in August (DH squeamish about the snip, though no desire for more littlies!). It was fine when I was bfeeding, no periods at all. Then I gave up bf, and started spotting in October. I tihnk I have probably had maybe 14 days of not spotting since then. It's a total pain, as I never know whether or not I need to use a towel (sorry if TMI). And, while I am fairly upfront and honest with the DDs, I don't really want to explain to a 3-yo why Mummy has blood in her knickers. Because you know she'll ask me in a public loo, don't you?
A friend of mine told me that, when a good friend of hers had completed her family, she suggested to her DH he should have the snip. He said no, why she asked why, he said he wanted to keep his options open and that, if he were to be with someone else, he might want more children. There's a marriage that didn't last much longer....
Mitts, your MIL is a cow . Keep the moral high ground! (easier said than done, I know).
Shiney, hope you're feeling better. I am a research scientist, BTW.
Lizzy, I would have thought that a nice furry muff might be just the thing in this cold weather [innocent face]
